I quite like what is in Thomas people but anywhere else to get a good quality classic white shirt?

A recent BBC programme found that Thomas Pink and Next shirts were pretty much identical except for the price and the fact that the Next shirt performed 3 times better in the industry wear and tear test.

Oh really? The next one I have is terrible!

Just noticed typo. Not Thomas people but Thomas pink.

My Dd has this one for her choir, but it's a plain white shirt with a lovely cut and very inexpensive. www.academyuniformsltd.co.uk/nycos-training-choir-p-152.html?cPath=60_59&zenid=92ii54j3g13cf20uhobcu2nj55

I have a great one from The White Company.

Itscurtainsforyou · 18/02/2016 20:15

The shirt company every time.

I'm not a fan of Next shirts. COS are good, but can be boxy, rather than classic.

achillesratty · 18/02/2016 23:55

I have Thomas Pink and the quality and fit is great (I have enormous boobs though so had to go up a size), TM Lewin and Charles Tyrwhitt are also good quality and are really well cut for a woman's body shape.

Kirriemuir · 19/02/2016 08:11

Thanks. Was looking at TM Lewin and they seem reasonable so will order and see.

Uniqlo white shirts are well cut and the fabric is great quality.

Austin Reed are the best fit for me, and 100% cotton.
