Any recommendations please? I love my fancy hairdressers shampoo and conditioner but at £17 each I can't justify it

I wash my hair daily as it looks lank, greasy and dirty quickly

It's coloured but healthy

Thanks!

Second the dark green bottle Elvive, it does actually plump up your hair. Tresemme is surprisingly good. Aveda is lovely but pricey.

Dove Intensive Repair. Used a lot of expensive stuff but none better, and atm it's a quid a bottle in Savers.

Mark Hill (available in Boots). It is worth every penny!

I use Aussie but starting to tire of it and looking to try something else. It leaves my hair feeling matted and I have had an itchy scalp too, just never put 2 and 2 together.

Jason, you can get it from health shops around 6 quid a bottle. Free from sodium laureth sulphates, made a big difference to my hair.

Herbal Essence, for coloured hair.

You sound similar to me, hair-wise, and I love Garniers Fructis conditioner. And I can only reliably find it in Poundland!

I have super straight hair that has lank tendencies. I have been using Dove Dry Oil shampoo and conditioner www.waitrose.com/shop/DisplayProductFlyout?productId=410691&source=sho_&utm_source=google%2Bshopping&utm_medium=organic%2Bgs&utm_campaign=google%2Bshopping&gclid=COf7g4_Z_soCFdEy0wodj38BrQ&gclsrc=aw.ds
and I really love it. I wash my hair every couple of days and only comb it in the shower, let it dry naturally, it ends up shiny and bouncy. I also use a clarifying shampoo once a month just to get rid of product residue (although apparently it's not really recommended for dyed hair so if you colour your hair it may not be suitable for you).

Aussie makes my scalp itch too. I use L'Oreal Hair Expertise (without sulphates) or good old Pantene.

My hairdresser recommends L'oreal elvive as a conditioner (apparently L'oreal own a lot of the more expensive brands and so it's good value for money). Personally I swap between that and the Aussie range (normal conditioner rather than 3 minute miracle which I find a bit heavy for everyday).

I have found it more difficult to find a high street shampoo that really works. I actually think that kerastase shampoo works out not much more expensive because you need to use such a small amount of it. I tend to order it online so it's about £13 - £14 a bottle. I reckon I use about half the amount every day I would use for most high street shampoos!
