I need colour in my wardrobe

I started a part time job last year that requires corporate wear and suddenly half my wardrobe is black and white (two colours that I really dislike and don't suit me) and the other half is very very casual.
I needed an outfit to go and see a play in London yesterday and my wardrobe let me down.
Even today, my jeans and topped with neutrals.
I love red, bright blue and purples and they (so I'm told) suit me.
I skim on the internet and in our all high street has proved fruitless.
Can anyone recommend a suitable website or store please?
I'd rather buy fewer pieces that are better quality than lots of cheap bits.

I'm a young trendy-ish (I think) 50 year old, size 8-10.
I spend quite a lot of my free time in exercise gear or dog walking gear.
My go to suit for work is Reiss, my favourite jeans are 7 for all Mankind, my favourite place to shop is probably John Lewis although I don't really like shopping.
I sometimes shop in TopShop, bras from bravissimo, M&S for knickers.
I like LK Bennett, sometimes Warehouse, sometimes Karen Millen.
Is that enough to go on?

The closest I get to colour = red Converse, burgundy boots and the odd scarf.

What are you actually looking for?

In that case I'm surprised you can't find what you'd like - LK Bennett is usually good for colour, so is Karen Millen. And John Lewis has everything!!

Might be worth trying Ted Baker? If your budget will take it (or you're near an outlet) maybe Paul Smith? Although for both TB & PS, colour often comes with a print, which you may not like?

Hobbs often does good colour (although the purples often tend to come out in the autumn, so blues may be easier).

Have you looked at Finery? Baukjen?

So, I have a nice shortish black skirt, too short and dressy for work but I have nothing to wear worth it except a plainest blouse so the whole outfit reminds me of a work outfit.
Next Friday I'm going out with the girls and might wear black half leather trousers but I have no tops other than black and white or grey.
I'm craving colour.

I wear quite a bit of colour, not brights but a lot of plums and dark greens.

I find Uniqlo normally has a good range although the website doesn't always show them accurately.

Boden is often derided on here but at least it isn't death by monochrome.

Whistles is a bit more limited for colour but they often do some nice plum shades.

For more corporate stuff - Jigsaw and Hobbs.
