Any good?
Off skiing and my skin always takes a battering and looks flat and bare. Would this be a help?

I use it. It's lovely and light (I don't like heavy make up) and smoothes over imperfections. I don't need to use much concealer with it. My only criticism is that it's a bit shiny for my liking, so I use powder to mattify it!

I like it. It's not heavy and it is moisturising. You need to exfoliate etc too with it before you put it on. I tend to use it as a lighter summer foundation.

Ok great - thanks both.
Will it protect me from icy winds do you think?

Do you mean will it stop your skin from drying out?

I presume you're not expecting it to keep you warm Grin

Emma Grin
Yes, protect my skin from the chill.
I shall have big girls pants, vests, thermals and a thousand layers keeping the rest of me warm and unable to move

My mum who is 89 uses it as her daily 'foundation'.
I think you will need a heavier duty SPF under it- certainly not enough on its own against strong sun.

Silverpinkswirls · 09/02/2016 12:37

I would use a facial oil such as clarins.

WelshMoth · 09/02/2016 21:30

I think I'll stick to the blue tin Nivea - cheaper! I forgot that I have a lightweight adjusting foundation from the body shop so I think a skiing SPF 50, foundation and then the Nivea at night is the way to go.
