Just put my usual hemp hand cream on and it stung!

Hands still stinging now :( they are particularly dry and raw at mo I've been neglecting them! I usually love tbs hemp hand cream, but is there anything else that won't sting but still moisturising while sinking in nicely without too much grease?!

LRP cicaplast is good for repairing and it's not greasy.

If it's the bodyshop one, I'm allergic to that.

There was a good thread, the other day, but I like oilatum for after washing up etc and the flexitol one a few times a day and at bedtime.

Ooh I have cicaplast here already....do u mean the normal one as opposed to the hand cream version?

I meant the hand cream but the ordinary cream will help for now. The hand cream creates a barrier to stop further drying out and it soaks in straight away. With any other hand cream I usually end up wiping it off because I hate the feeling of it!

Flexitol heel balm, not the handcream. It really works a treat in sore, dry hands. The heel one is richer and has a higher urea content - this is what you need to heal up, honestly!

I use the normal cicaplast on my hands. It works well.

Flexitol on hands?! Love the stuff for my feet but not sure I could put up with the smell on my hands! Tempted to try it tonight though

Thanks for your replies, I'm going to try the cicaplast tonight as I already have it here but if that fails I'll check out flexitol. Need something to help my nails too they are weak and peel so easy

Mint - seriously, it works! Any cream with a high urea content works well but you usually find the higher content in foot creams - for sorting out cracked heels. Works a treat on hands!
