Where to buy lingerie? (nothing left after MariKondo)

I've done a MariKondo on my wardrobe and for the first time in many years I went through my underwear drawers. I got rid of unloved pairs of socks, tights that looked faded and all of my old 'nice' lacy romantic underwear.

Where should I look to replace it? I had a look online (M&S, John Lewis, Boux Avenue) and didn't see anything that I liked the look of. I shop in M&S for regular underwear and have a couple of bras from Bravissimo for everyday wear. Back in the day I used to shop in Ann Summers, etc but now I'm not sure I feel that's the look I'm going for.

I just want some ideas of where else to look that isn't too expensive. Help?

waggle. I totally agree it's mad! My ribs aren't 2 inches bigger just because my boobs are! I used to buy 32D/DD before I was measured correctly. I hate to think I need to go back to that to buy matching nice lingerie.

It's so frustrating. Just looked at the Mimi Holliday ones and they are gorgeous. Exactly what I want. I'd buy them all but there are hardly any 30ff or 28ff ones online. Sad Unless I'm looking in the wrong places.

Just posting to say that French outlets currently have incredible sales on lingerie (70% off), so it might be worth to check that , if they deliver or you can think of another arrangement. Try Galeries Lafayette.

I am a 36 DD and I find the bigger the cup the more you need to invest in good, wired, high support bras.

I love the Mimi Holliday look and want to try and out in person before buying rom their website. But neither JL or Harvey Nichols show what they have online and I hate buying bras/pants/lingerie online.

I have to buy everything online. It can be a pain when it's bras though I agree. They vary in fit so much.

I no longer expect my underwear to bring me joy. Having said that, I have got some pants with suspenders from Figleaves that I haven't worn yet, maybe they would bring DH joy?

HereComeTheSun how come? Is it because it's too hard to find underwear which sparks joy?

I'm the same size as you.

Most of my current bras are Masquerade (no longer made) or EW. Being online only I can see that EW may not suit.

In my experience it's not the easiest size to shop for.

Another brand to try is Aubade. I have a really pretty unpadded wired one that gives a good shape. Again probably hard to find in our size. R&P has them. Best to try on as they are French sizing. I think they have non wired ones also that are pretty (although being unwired I suspect unsupportive).

Also worth checking the bras in Bosom Galore's sale. When I last looked they were very much reduced and they would be ideal size wise.

Ewa Michalak. Polish. Much loved by some on MN.

They are easier to buy than one might think. The padded shape .. called S I think are the ones that fit me best. I did however order a few types to try first of all in order to figure that out.

I do find that many Panache bras fit well too. The Clara for example. But I prefer EW.

I certainly would not recommend R&P by the way for our size. They have very little that fits.

I have just remembered actually that the French bra I was thinking of is not Aubade at all. It's the Empreinte Thalia. It's very 'black swan'. The wires may be a little hard though if you are bony, which I am.
