Foundation for fine hairy face?

Maybe this is a hopeless cause but perhaps someone out there can help.

My face is covered in very fine hairs. It's kind of like a furry peach but because I'm really fair and the hairs are kind of translucent they don't really bother me too much.

Problem is they look horrendous when I have any kind of foundation or powder on as it sticks to all the hairs. Is there some kind of magic base out there that other hairy faced people use? Or should I be doing some clever kind of hair removal all the time too?

I use a wee trimmer thing which is supposed to be for nose/eyebrow hair on men - DP bought it under sufferance and I use it once a week on my downy hairs. No idea why I didn't do it sooner.

I use an eyebrow trimmer. Dead easy, painless and quick.

We didn't do it sooner because we were told if we did we'd end up making a living by charging 50p to see the bearded lady and have to live in a circus wagon next to the elephants!

I tried the dermaplaning today. Basically it's just dry shaving your face right? I ummed and aahhed for a good few days first. After watching some youtubes I bought the little Noxema "eyebrow" razors with the long dainty handles.

They are tiny! Great for getting the bit between the eyebrows but not so great on my neck and jawline. The razor kept catching too as it felt quite blunt and I felt like I had to press a little bit against the skin to get it to work. Felt very different to the light glide over when I shave my legs wet.

I must say it looks pretty good though. Some bits were tricky - I got a bit carried away and started to do my temples then had to draw the line somewhere above my eyebrows. My face doesn't feel stubbly at all but my tache area looks a bit shaved iykwim. Hmm I've also got a bit of a pink prickly rash despite washing my face thoroughly first. Fingers crossed it looks better in the morning!

Im a bit late BUT
I start off with a primer and use my fingers to rub it in the direction the hair is growing
then you can put on foundation (liquid is better) and spray a setting spray through out your makeup routine. The setting spray acts like hairspray but for your peach fuzz. Brushes usually disturb the hairs so i recommend using a beauty sponge as it buffs it in. I've shaved my face before and i still sometimes do it when im bored, but it always results in my skin becoming super sensitive. Once again sorry that im so late and i basically wrote an article haha hope this finds someone!!

After getting a new epilator I went over the chin bristles and then got a bit carried away over peach fuzz beard. It did smart on few bits of upper/ under lip area but was a quick pain at least. I used the cooling glove to try take redness down ( I get it for few hours after waxing brows too). It was OK in the morning but I then got a few Whiteheads on upper lip so perhaps need to put something on my skin.

When i've not had time to tweezer in past I've shaved chin but was a bit wary about how rest of fuzz may then grow back and my ability to cut myself while just doing my legs.
