I am sick of the little fluffy hair on the side of my face and I'm seriously considering shaving it. Anyone want to talk me out of it ?!Grin

You need an epistick!

calzone · 10/01/2016 21:02

Nooooooooooooooooo.

Don't do it. You will end up with coarse dark stubble.

goddessofsmallthings · 10/01/2016 22:32

Go for it! I've been using these for a couple of years now with no sign of coarse dark stubble a beard growing back www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-PCS-BNWT-Tineke-Eyebrow-Razor-Trimmer-Ladies-Women-Shaver-Hair-Removal-Shaper-/221737506005?hash=item33a095d4d5:g:~jMAAMXQrC9SbWVD and, unlike an epistick, it's a painfree way of getting rid of fluff/fuzz.

SixtyFootDoll · 10/01/2016 22:35

I use my epilator.
Nothing to make you feel more ladylike than epilating all of your lower face

neonrainbow · 10/01/2016 22:44

You can shave your face if you want. Its onlylike shaving your legs.

rockabella · 10/01/2016 22:53

You shouldn't end up with dark stubble if it's just baby hairs. I'm a makeup artist and shave my entire face once a fortnight with a disposable mens razor. Makeup applies smoother and it helps keep my skin clear, although not entirely sure if it's related or a happy coincidence.

Room101isWhereIUsedToLive · 10/01/2016 22:56

I second what Rockabella says, been doing it for years now and my hair grows back exactly as it was when I started.

calzone · 10/01/2016 23:10

Ok

Go for it then.

goddessofsmallthings · 10/01/2016 23:38

As Rocakbella has said, make up goes on smoother and, as you're effectively exfoliating your face everytime you shave it, it does help to keep your skin clear and glowing.

Pantone363 · 10/01/2016 23:44

Shaving doesn't change the type of hair that grows.

It can be a bit more 'spiky' because it's been cut with a razor not pulled at the root. It won't change colour or anything.

I think women shaving their faces is quite common now

amarmai · 11/01/2016 13:15

glad to hear it doesn't change the kind of hair, cause i got fed up and started doing it this winter. Thanks for reassuring info.

getoffthattabletnow · 11/01/2016 13:25

No don't .Use a Braun sensitive facial epilator. This works really well on fine fluffy hairs on the side of your face and is pretty quick and painless .

A friend who's a model told me about shaving her lady tache. Used to bleach but shaving makes it much less noticeable. I had light hair anyway but just a lot of it in the upper lip. Still grows back blondish as far as I can tell. Much easier!
