Inspired by the 5'7 thread, i was about to add to it, but I am 5'8 (nearly!)

I was thinking about weights and sizes and i thought it would be interesting to see where people are? - i had to look up my weight in kilos so if you could do both that would be great

I'm 5'8 - currently about 13st 1lb (83 kilos) and i take a 14 in Next jeans, but cant fit in 16 jeans at primark - tops mostly size 14

Depending on the shop I am everything from an 8 to a 12.

These threads always confuse me as I think the sizes I wear are out of step with everyone else.

I'm 5'5", weigh just under 9st and take a size 12 generally. Other people with my height and weight seem to wear smaller clothes.

A few things I wear are smaller, but generally I'm a 12. The only shop where I sometimes need a 10 is Next, but I don't buy from there very often and their sizes seem to be pretty random.

I work out and am toned-ish, and fairly small-boobed. No idea why I'm bigger for my weight than others!

5ft 9. Currently about 11st 8 and size 12 pretty much across the board.

Looking to get to about 10st 2 which is the weight I feel best at, where I am a standard 10, with the odd 12 for my huge chest.

Fallstar, you are likely wearing things on the baggy side like my DM.

10st 10lbs (Probably the most I've ever weighed bar pregnancy).
I'm a 10/12. More so a 12 but I refuse to admit it.
In next I find a size 10 pair of jeans perfect or too big, I think they are doing that vanity sizing thing though.
I can squeeze into a size 10 skinny jeans from say, New look makes a massive muffin top though-
I can just barely get my bum into a fatface size 10 skinny. So I'd be a 12 there.
I'm whatever shape it is that carries weight around the middle, apple?

5 ft 4.5, 10 stone. 12 in Top Shop, small or medium (depends) in zara, more 10 on top, 12 bottom.

Floppity, that's quite possible as I'm a bit nervous of having that squished-in-and-bulging look! Will reassess...

5'9, 17 1/2 stone. Take a size 18 trews pretty much everywhere and generally a size 16 top. I'm fairly fit though and carry a fair bit of muscle.

Just under 5'4'' and between 13-13.5 stone. 16 top and 18 bottom as a pear shape.

This is the lightest I've been in 20 years so while I'd love to drop another 2-3 stone, I'm happy to not be 16+ stone and maintaining the weight loss at the mo.

Size 8-10. I would be an 8 but I have slightly bigger boobs so it skews it out a bit and makes it hard to get a good fit all over.

I'm 5'5, weigh just over 15 stone and I'm a size 18 all over. :(

My mum seems to think that everyone of the same height should be of the same size :(

Mostly a 12, but can get into a 10 in some shops.
My last clothes purchase was an age 14 Xmas jumper from the girls section of H&M! Fits perfectly.

pinkpoppy I've put on weight since I quit smoking just over a year ago too. I guess we're still a lot healthier overall but it feels quite unfair to me! substituting fags for biscuits

I'm 5ft 4.5 and about 9 st 8. I wear size 10 but some size 8 clothes are okay. I'm heavy for me at the moment and my body shape has changed since menopause. I used to be an 8 and as small as a 6 sometimes.

Fallstar really it would be more helpful if people got out their tapemeasures. I used to be when young 34 24 34 last time I measured I was 36 28 36 but that was a while ago.

Good point, Peevedquitter. Measurements are bound to be more indicative of size.

I have noticed my waist has thickened a bit as I've got older, too. Just did a quick waist check and it's 28.5, so a few inches bigger than pre-pregnancies and menopause.

So 5'5", just under 9st (usually 8st13), 28.5 waist and size 12.

My clothes aren't particularly loose, tbh, but I don't feel constrained either.

5ft 3, 6st so 4-6 mainly
