Where do you buy your bras?

I am looking for new bras after stopping breastfeeding a few months ago that now I am a different size.

Where do you get your bras from? I am looking for something simple but pretty. Something similar to these goo.gl/mSv8Kk which I got from the US before. May be nude or black with a little bit of lace.

Many thanks ladies xx

I am a G cup and whilst some full cup or balcony M&S styles fit, and they have a wide range of styles, colours and patterns, their sizing isn't as consistent as Fantasie, Freya and Elomi brands sourced from the sites I mentioned.

The faff or having to go there and try multiple sizes puts me off in general which is a shame as I buy most of my other undies - vests, knickers, thermal layers etc - from M&S. Maybe I am the kind of target middle aged customer that is responsible for their ongoing sales slump! If they could get the bra fitting right I am sure their general merchandise sales would follow suit!

What Katy Did.. on line, wonderful, retro 'cone 'bras that give you a 1950's/60's pert look while accentuating your waist. They teach you on a video how to measure yourself but ignore the overly 'erotic' manner...these are good bras, fitted well and last well.

Bravissimo, or online once I find a bra I can be confident is going to fit correctly. I'm a 28E so most shops, including M&S, don't stock my size.

MNetter15 · 07/01/2016 18:05

Debenhams

Madbengalmum · 07/01/2016 18:07

Figleaves, hate bravissimo, always ridiculously tight and uncomfortable.

Littlepumpkinpie · 07/01/2016 20:11

I get measured in bravissimo then go on Ebay search my size 28dd add in brands Freya and Panache always fit me well also buy the matching undies. All brand new at a fraction of the high street prices.

P1nkP0ppy · 07/01/2016 20:19

Get yourself measured properly then go online- I'm 38F and love Fantasies bras. Just bought two from Debenhams sale.
Used to always get M&S but their sizing has gone to pot, miles too narrow across the back - I'd need 42D to get anywhere near a comfortable and appropriate fit 😡

John Lewis

eBay or M & S but only in their 70% off lingerie sale section.

ruthsmumkath · 07/01/2016 22:49

Second John Lewis - good measuring service plus range of sizes And prices.

I stick to 2 styles, I am a 30E , small framed. Boobs have seen better days due to feeding my son now 17 ( so a long time ago) plus weight gain and loss over the years.

Freya Rio ( usually from Debenhams when they have a new season event on with 25% off) and John Lewis own brand padded underwired t shirt bras which are absolutely brilliant, great shape and very comfy.

I did buy two DKNY t shirts bras from TK Maxx recently for £7.99 each and they are lovely.

For sports bras ( which I wear most days for running or the gym) I think M and S are great but I always go up a back size. They have lasted ages.
