New year, new knickers - please tell me where to shop

I'm fed up of my bikini style knickers creating a cheesewire effect on my less-than-firm bottom, so you can see lines and lumps through clothes. I'm generally slim but carry weight on my bum, so losing weight isn't an option. I think I need to size up, but I'm also considering a new style - shorts? midi? full briefs? What and where do you buy? They need to be cotton or cotton rich. Thanks very much.

It's amazing how annoying uncomfortable pants can be! I have recently bought a wee stash of comfy pants, it's great not having to root around every morning for an acceptable pair! All my pants are from Gap, I particularly like the 'breathe' style pants, soft smooth and comfy, there are different styles I think, but they sell out really quickly, my favourite is the breathe girlshorts because I like quite a big pant! Would definitely recommend, have given up on cheap supermarket pants, they just don't suit me. I think it's usually 3 for 2 on pants at Gap, then if you also sign up for their email list they often do 35% off full price styles which makes them very affordable!

M&s full brief granny knickers for me - comfy and smooth under all clothes!

Brazilians every time, I abhor vpl used to wear thongs but got fed up with the discomfort. Brazilians are comfortable, no vpl and flattering when on display.

M&S granny pants for me too. They're not sexy by any means but my god are they comfortable.

They come up to about your belly button so if you have any bit of a tummy it sits about that rather than underneath, which I found uncomfortable.

I couldn't go back to anything else now. How did I ever think that thongs were comfortable when I was younger?!

These from Marks or these Not quite full on granny, but nearly! They are really comfortable and wash well and are always on 3 for 2. I have about 20 pairs in black and a few in other colours.

I like the Rosie silk £12.50 ones too, but obviously they are much more expensive and they also need ironing (does anybody actually iron knickers?!!!) and are a bit twisty and scruffy looking if you're a lazy arse like me, and don't iron them.

I'm with previous posters - big M & S knickers are the way to go - you'll never look back!

I have Sloggi full briefs for my work days (I wear a pair of pull on M&S trousers and these look neat underneath, no VPL)

For real Life, M&S . I need to buy more , some of my drawers I would not like to end up in hospital wearing Blush but the new Sainsburys one I bought (on the 25% off offer) just don't work with my rump.

I need to visit the local M&S to do a pant restock.

I iron my Rosie knickers! Grin

Try high leg. Good coverage, high up and flattering. Camille lingerie on line sells brilliant range
