Can anyone recommend a good one please? I've been using Brazilian Keratin salt free aftercare shampoo and conditioner based on good Amazon reviews.....but it doesn't seem to get my hair that clean and it's got a frigging pump which is a faff.

Thanks, are all their shampoos salt free?

I've no idea.

you could always email and find out?

I use the carrot one on my dds and it leaves their hair lovely

The OGX range, which you can get from boots and Amazon
They do a brazillian keratin one, and a Moroccan oil one. Both are brilliant
It's £4.66 a bottle on Amazon and a bit more in boots

Dancergirl · 02/12/2015 10:30

spare one review of the Organix brazilian keratin shampoo says it's not salt free!

Ingredients are listed here:
m.boots.com/h5/cat_hub?unCountry=uk&path=/en/OGX-Ever-Straight-Brazilian-Keratin-Therapy-Shampoo-385ml_1222270/

It contains a sulphinate but not any sulphates

TheWatchersCouncil · 02/12/2015 11:49

I use Pureology.

FankEweVeryMuch · 02/12/2015 13:38

I love the palmers coconut oil range which is sulphate free. It's not too heavy and gives a great shine. It's on offer on ocado at the moment or I know wilkinson a sell it too.

FankEweVeryMuch · 02/12/2015 13:45

Actually I was just reading about the ingredients and it turns out that what they replace the sulphate with is just as harsh as SLS so don't take my advice above.

Another vote for Pureology. Love their products. Not cheap but you only need a tiny amount. Am a total Kerastase convert.

Destinysdaughter · 03/12/2015 11:33

Bodyshop Rainforest range is sulphate and silicone free and you can often get it at 40% off with the codes!

BettyBi0 · 03/12/2015 12:08

The Treseme "naturals" shampoo is sulphate free and gets hair really clean. You need a good co dictionary after though and I think theirs has silicone in

BettyBi0 · 03/12/2015 12:08

Conditioner I mean

Dancergirl · 03/12/2015 12:31

Are all the pureology shampoos free from what I want to avoid (bit confused about all these different chemicals!)....?

Someone on here recommended Jason brand shampoo to me after I asked for SLS & sulphate free shampoo. I got a big bottle of shampoo and conditioner from Amazon, and they are really great. My hair has gone from being lank and weighed down by product build up to shiny and swishy! I got the lavender one which smells lovely but they do a few different ones.

Pringlesandwine · 03/12/2015 12:47

Faith in nature do shampoo, conditioner and body washes. Only brand I can use on my sensitive skin.

FinallyHere · 03/12/2015 14:06

Some, but not all of the Aveda range are free of sulphates and parabens, both of which make my scalp itch, work well for me. www.aveda.co.uk

Stevie77 · 03/12/2015 14:17

Cowshed are sulphate free as are Aveda. Although I note the PP says not all their products are. Not sure how you'd find out as they don't have full ingredient list on their website.

TheWatchersCouncil · 03/12/2015 14:38

I use pureology hydrate and it is fine for my Brazilian blow dry keratin treatment.

Faith in Nature hair products not all sulphate free, so be careful! (Their handwash is fantastic!)

FinallyHere · 03/12/2015 15:03

Sorry, i knew i'd seen a statement from Aveda about ingredients. Took me a while to track it down, its on the .com rather than .co.uk site www.aveda.com/media/pdf/AvedaIngredientFAQ-0513.pdf

FinallyHere · 03/12/2015 15:49

Hi, sorry, didn't mean to be confusing. I know that the Aveda products i use are paraben and SPS free but couldn't find the pdf on their site where i checked this out. I've now tracked it down as being on the .com, rather than .co.uk site www.aveda.com/media/pdf/AvedaIngredientFAQ-0513.pdf
