My friend is a size 24-26 and is going to be about 17wks at xmas. I really want to get her a slogan tshirt (something like "baby under construction") because she said she has always wanted one but so far I can't find a website or shop selling sizes above a 20. Anybody know where I can find one?

Not sure.

Could you not make your own? Buy a plain T shirt in her size and then print a baby on board sign onto transfer paper and apply to the top.

That way you can think of your own unique and funny slogan.

Sounds like a good idea but I'm rubbish at arty stuff - is there somewhere I could buy ready printed transfers or similar?

hobby craft?? maybe they would do them on Ebay?

I have some Transfer paper here, if you let me know what sort of design you want i could print it and post it to you.
but no doubt there will be some clever crafty people along in the morning with some vert clever idea

Best bet would be to find a local t-shirt printing place and take in a t-shirt to be printed. That way you can get a decent one that fits, I got one at a festival supposd to be large. Yeh right large what, largw toddler perhaps but not large lady.

I'm that size and when I was pregnant was able to wear a blooming marvelous size XL - so i was able to wear their slogan T's. Was wearing them almost to the end from bout 28 weeks - however, mine were second hand and came a it pre-stretched! Being larger to start with she may not actually be changing size that much anyway - which can be a real source of tears, believe me.

I'd do the Santasfattymumma thing - get her to print the picture on the slogan paper and then you iron it on to a T-shirt form Evans - I'd only buy her one size bigger than she is because they just get stuppidly big around the neck and arms when you go up the sizes.

Also, maybe she would like some pretty things?

Send her a link to MN as well, lots of bigger chicks here who will understand and support!

Thanks Everybody!!
I tried Skribble's idea but couldn't find a printer nearby who does just one-offs.
I have to admit, I was all over Ebay and Hobbycraft with no luck but thanks for the lovely offer of the print SFM I really appreciate it. Truth is, I am pretty cr**p with words and couldn't think up a slogan on my own.
In the end, Ipod's post gave me the confidence to just go to NappyHead's website and order a large size from there - I'll let you all know what it's like when it arrives. I'm trying for a second baby too so maybe I'll be ordering one for myself soon!
Oh, and I've sent my 2 best friends the link hoping they both get on line - MN is a great place to get help and advice or just offload the diet/baby woes to a sympathetic ear
