Help please! Best budget anti-frizz hair gunk?

I'm a complete novice at hair - I brush it, and wash it. Occasionally use the hairdryer but just to dry it, not to style it (how?!).
I have finally had enough of the frizz - after a rare visit to the hairdresser where they used 3 different products, my hair went swishy. I'd like that look but can't afford Tigi bedhead products. Suggestions please!

Frizz ease is good if it's very frizzy. Otherwise any serum/heat protecting spray should help. The trick is to have a decent hair dryer ( I thought it didn't matter but it really does!) and take your time drying it properly - not too hot.

Tesco pink serum. It's a quid, it's fucking marvellous.

My hair is always frizzy looking if I dont use a hairdryer. If you want your hair to look well theres effort involved.

I think the babyliss big hair might be the thing for you. People love them or hate them so its best if you can borrow one of a friend to try before investing.

get some argan oil - v. cheap in superdrug
and yy to blow drying. my hair is very fluffy and flyaway and I have to blow dry it in sections to get a good finish.
although most mornings, to save time I just blow dry the very top and front, and then shove it up in a french pleat.

Wow thank you for all the responses.
Realistically, I would only manage the hairdryer on special occasions so am reluctant to splash out really. Interesting though that a better hairdryer(or indeed hairdrying at all!) makes a difference.
Will definitely try Honeydragon's suggestion on the Tesco pink serum, that is within my budget! Otherwise frizz ease or argan oil - I tried argan oil shampoo \ conditioner for a while but didn't get on with it particularly - should I have just bought oil?
Really appreciate your responses, thank you!

In reality, unless you are prepared to put a bit of time and effort into styling it you'll see minimal results from using products. If money is tight it might not be worth it. It most likely wasn't the products that made your hair swishy.
