sports bra for a 36g?

Anything to look out for?
Haven't been physical shopping yet, just looked online.

Don't fancy a big strapping that squashes everything and gets all sweaty, but will the separate cups be supportive enough.
Racer back or straps?

Help please?

What sort of sport?

The Panache Ultimate or the Freya Active underwired are nice separated bras.

Nothing high impact but at 36g needs to be strong enough to keep them in place.

Seconding Panache and will also suggest the Shock Absorber active multisport one (size up in the band).

I'm normally a 30FF, but up to a 30J/32HH at the moment because I'm pregnant so a sister size to OP. I favour Shock Absorber at the moment - I find a racer back gives good freedom of movement in my shoulders particularly when I'm lifting and looks good with my running tops.

Do you measure 36in around the ribcage? Only asking because if you've been measured at, for example, m&s, it will be wrong!
Otherwise, I strap my gg-cups down in one from ennell, which is a bit of a straitjacket but definitely holds 'em up and in for the duration!

I'm a bravissimo girl so a true 36g ??

The Freya underwired is the best sports bra I've ever tried, by miles. I'm a 32G (was 32H when breastfeeding) and have worn it since I took up running. It's seen me from my first mile to a half-marathon with minimal bounce and no discomfort at all. Great support and a much nicer shape than the Shock Absorbers I used to wear that just gave me a monoboob. the only thing I would say is it can be a bit snug on the band so worth going up a size (so I wear a 34G).

Ennel.

I have a Panache as well and it's fine, but I don't like the extra padding on the cups. I don't need extra padding!

sacbina · 05/11/2015 22:00

Oooh definitely don't need extra padding! And not keen on monoboob !

I've just ordered a Freya spacer sports bra that has separate cups from the debenhams sale. I normally have a shock absorber but wanted something a little different than uniboob. The reviews look good!

Another vote for the ennell

StatisticallyChallenged · 05/11/2015 22:41

The panache and Freya are both good for monoboob avoidance
