leggings for dd that won't have holes in them after 10 minutes

Dd loves wearing black leggings at the moment but the Zara ones had holes after 2 days, and the H&M lasted only a couple of weeks.

Does anyone know where I can get some made with decent fabric?

ThanksSmile

Ah ha! The holes in the washing mystery!

Branleuse · 29/10/2015 10:20

has she tried the h&m heavyweight ones. Theyre pretty good.

Also Jeggings may be an answer?

The holes are on the knees and bum so I think it's wear and tear really.

We had the heavier weight H&M ones and they lasted a couple of weeks. I am blue in the face trying to get her to wear jeggings or jeans but they don't go with her outfit! She's 11. I can't complain though, I'm fussy too, the apple didn't fall far from the tree Grin

Benetton cotton leggings are pretty good but what are absolutely fantastic are their cord jeggings. They're soft, stretchy and only £9.90 a pair and they do a full winter in this house before they go thin at the knees. Really, really recommend them. We buy them in several colours - have just taken delivery of 4 pairs this morning! They're not on their website though!

Boden (some seconds on ebay). I was asking this question a month ago for my daughter!

Thanks, I'll try Benneton and Boden, not sure how well the jodhpurs would go down!

Asda ones aren't to bad. I see leggings as disposable clothes really. They're cheap and not meant to last.

mudandmayhem01 · 30/10/2015 10:16

Disposable clothes, what a waste I expect my children's clothes to last until they grow out of them and sometimes to be fit for handing down or giving to a charity shop. Jeggings or running leggings from decathlon might be a better option.

Dance leggings. They are great, last a really long time and are generally good quality, though slightly pricier than high street brands.

The thick H&M ones are what you need.
I started buying them for exactly the reason you're looking and have bought them ever since.
They have them all year round in a range if pattern and plain.

I've found that the Lands End ones are pretty durable. My daughter goes through the H&M ones like I go through nude tights!
