Saw the cutest owl hat/beanie and now I want/need one.

Today at the park a little girl was wearing the cutest owl beanie I've ever seen. Her grandmother was unable to tell me where it came from and we had a language barrier that prevented me from asking to see the label kicked myself for thinking of it after she'd gone

I really like it and would like to get one for DD. The closest I can find is the attached one from Monsoon. It was very similar in colour but didn't have the pom poms at the bottom, just a regular beanie shape. It had colourful pom poms on the top (both sides) of the head and a glittery beak. I think the eyes were closed.

Has anyone seen anything like this? Many thanks in advance.

No side bits (what are those dangly hair-plait-esque things called?). Quite free from embellishment other than the glittery beak. Very similar in colour to the Monsoon one.

I've Googled tonight on phone during entire BF session with DD and no joy alas. But I've seen the power of MN to find really random stuff before so thought I'd give it a shot.

They often have that kind of thing in Primark. Not as elaborate as the Monsoon one, but cheaper!

I'm sure I saw the owl beanie you describe in Primark today. I went in looking for black tights for daughters Halloween outfit and saw an owl beanie with closed eyes in black stitching , a glittery pink beak and no dangly plait bits. My phone was out of battery so I couldn't photograph it but I am positive it was the one your after.

Thanks for thinking of this owl hat everyone. I think HoneyDragon's one is closest. Not quite the same beak and a lighter colour. Maybe I'll take a peak at Primark. I actually think it might be from Monsoon/Accessorise as I saw a different hat in there but I think it had the same glittery stuff on it. Nothing on their website alas.

Mothercare one is cute. The memory of the hat is starting to fade now so, whatever I buy, I should be happy with it right? If I see that little girl and her hat again, I'll probably be all indifferent
