Colour B4 on purple hair? Any hair colour peeps about?

I have naturally grey hair. A few months ago I started dyeing it purple with Manic Panic temporary dye.

The dye has lasted way way longer than I expected it to and has now started to build up a bit (I've been dyeing whole head when roots needed doing) and I'd like to make it lighter so I can dye a different colour.

Would Colour B4 take some of the colour out without making me go orange or any other weird shade? And is it damaging?

I don't think you need anything as drastic as colour b4 (which stinks)

Try a clarifying shampoo, and shampoo twice. Or I'm pretty certain that some mnetters have recommended head and shoulders.

I found it really hard to get purple out (directions violet mixed with conditioner) but I used superdrugs colour rewind extra strength and it turned my hair back blonde

Vodka that's a fab result. You look ace.

I've been using a clarifying shampoo practically every time I shower (and always shampoo twice) and the colour isn't shifting at all. It's much darker than I would like it to be. I want a more pastel effect.

Might pick some up in town tomorrow. It has no ammonia or peroxide, what's the worst that can happen?!!

Ta luv. Also if you get the superdrug one it's an own brand product so it's under the 100% happiness guarantee so if it doesn't work you can get a refund on it.

The only thing that shifted Crazy Colour & Manic Purple out of my hair was vitamin C tablets, strong shampoo & bicarb of soda.

If you crush up the tablets & mix with strong shampoo & the bicarb. Mix it up into a paste, and put it on wet hair. Leave it on as long as you can (preferrably under plastic - for the heat), and you will find it shifts loads of colour.

I know it sounds really daft, but I promise it works.

Much less drying & damaging than Colour B4.

I've read about Vitamin C before biscuit. What do you mean by strong shampoo?
