Glamourous but comfortable shoes

Do they exist.
I'm looking for black and navy shoes that are comfortable but not flat.
I want a 'dressy' pair for 'going out'.
Any suggestions please.

Clarks Crisp Kendra
here £55.00 are comfortable. I cannot walk in heels at all, but I bought these a few weeks ago and have worn them to a few evening events and my feet haven't hurt. I think the trick with heels is to walk slow and not in the dashing about way I usually do in my flat pumps.

I also have Clarks Chorus Voice (with the Liberty print) and they are the most comfortable pair of heels I've ever owned. I can wear them all day long and think nothing of it. I don't think they do them now but may be available through eBay, outlets etc.

Those Unisa shoes look great! So good, I can't believe they are comfortable. I am keen to try some on!

Hotter shoes are definitely comfortable, and reasonably priced,...but not quite so stylish.

Unless you're going above 4", you might as well stick with flats.

Shoes with less than a 4" heel just scream "Frump trying to look glam".

Believe me I've tried to find comfy glam shoes for nights out. It's impossible. Either stick to glam flats (which do exist) or suffer the pain!

Above 4"! My feet are only size 4s to begin with. I am not sure the geometry is possible for me.

specialsubject · 27/10/2015 10:17

aha, now we've found the person who makes the shoe rules.

4 inch heels are so distorting and make people look AWFUL. Bum out, feet twisted, silly tip toe pose, sulky face due to the pain. And no-one can actually walk in them, they do a stupid perfume-ad waddle. It looks ridiculous.

look at photos from 10 or 20 years ago when you could buy decent shoes, and look how much better people looked. No, I am not talking seventies wedges.

shoes that affect your walk are crap shoes. Foot binding went out a century ago.

I am 50.
I do not do uncomfortable shoes.

My favourite Unisa boots have a 3 inch heel (and a half inch platform hidden under the toes).
My Unisa sandals have a 3 inch heel
My Unisa courts have a 3 inch heel
My work shoes (Gabor) have a 2 inch heel

My feet are size 5 and those heel heights work with my morphology.
