Muslin cloths

So I left my Muslin cloth in the bathroom and someone flushed it down the loo thinking it was toilet roll!?

Where can I buy a new one? I use the super drug vitamin hot cloth cleanser but now I have no cloth! I'm going shopping tomorrow so ideally not online I don't want to have to wait for it to be delivered!

Are they not the same as baby muslins - you'll get them in the supermarket.

Artandco · 26/09/2015 21:45

I use baby bamboo wipes that were originally bought for bums! 40 for about £20. Online though

I use flannels now. The Elemis hot cloth cleansing mitt is a flannel sewn up into a mitt! If it's good enough for Elemis then it's good enough for me.

Body Shop do a nice muslin.

sonata1 · 26/09/2015 21:57

I have gone off muslins and now buy the cheapest roughest flannels I can find. Far better IMO.

hugoagogo · 26/09/2015 21:58

I just use flannels or fleecey baby washcloths from poundland.

I would be less worried about the cloth than the loo! So expensive to fix. Sad

Hellokitty105 · 26/09/2015 22:00

Would rough flannels be to harsh on sensitive combination skin? I have a fair few hormonal spots at the min and I don't want to irritate my skin

Yes my dermatologist told me don't use anything except Muslin if I must use a cloth. I get them on eBay £3.50 for a dozen but they take s couple of weeks. Clinique does one for £6 and there is 10% off at debenhans just now.'
You need to wash after every use too. Especially as you have skin that sounds like mines.

SwedishEdith · 26/09/2015 22:12

Just use a clean tea towel.

MsBojangles · 26/09/2015 22:50

I use flannels now, much softer than muslin cloths.

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 27/09/2015 17:46

Flannels were lethal on my dry sensitive skin. I still occasionally use one if all my muslins are in the wash, but am careful to hold and pat, rather than wipe, as I do with a muslin otherwise I'm red raw.

MamaLazarou · 27/09/2015 18:56

Do you really only have one muslin cloth?

Baby muslins are often two for a pound in Poundland.

suchafuss · 27/09/2015 19:28

69p Home Bargins!

Ohwhatfuckeryisthis · 27/09/2015 19:41

Or two for a quid in pound land.

Hellokitty105 · 27/09/2015 22:36

Thanks everyone!

I bought a stack of cheap white flannels - I also have the muslin cloths that come with the cleanser but I prefer the flannels tbh. I got mine in Boots, they are nice and soft.

mrslebon · 27/09/2015 22:49

I also ditched the muslins in favour of good ol' white flannels. I get mine from Superdrug.
