I know there is a Korean skincare thread but I haven't been coming on as often lately and I'm afraid my post may get lost in amongst the very long thread Grin
Has anybody used a Korean skin whitener and how did you find it? I ordered one last night and I'm really excited to use it!

I have lots of Korean stuff, whitening products make my skin look brighter and have slowly faded my hyperpigmentation. But don't expect overnight miracles.

I have Redmarley red colouring in my cheeks, I'm hoping to fade this to a skin tone suitable just just wear a BB cream, my full coverage foundation routine takes a while on a morning.

Have you used any Korean BB creams? Which other products would you recommend?

I've used a couple of Korean whitening products. I think they're more aimed at brightness & fading sun damage, freckles rather than general redness. I'd imagine the redness might be from another cause- maybe irritation? In which case, snails are yer only man!! In any case the actives used in the whitening serums tend to be the quite anti-aging, so hopefully you will enjoy your product.

I'm not sure why I've got such severe redness, it makes me really paranoid. I've since it for as long as I can remember but if seems to be getting worse the older I'm getting.

Ravioli do you think that you might have rosacea by any chance? If so, there may be treatments your GP can recommend or other skin care regimes that might suit your skin better.

I'm not sure, it doesn't really hurt, sometimes it'll sting if I use a really harsh product on it but it's not patchy or cracked or really like any other photo of rosacea that I've seen before
