Drying hair without heat?

My short fine hair goes really frizzy even at the sight of a hairdryer so tend to let it dry naturally- fine in the summer but now it's getting colder, not so great.

I've seen these towels which say they dry hair quicker, anyone tried them? Or are they just towels!

Or any other tips please? Or any product recommendations that will tame the frizz without looking like I've rolled in chip fat (John Frieda Frizz Ease, I'm looking at you!)

The towels are more absorbent, but not hugely so. Your hair will still be damp.

Is your hair curly?

If so, google the curly girl method (basically cutting out all silicone based products - it's surprising where it lurks) It's worked wonders for my hair...
You can also dry your hair in an old T-shirt which is much more absorbent and doesn't encourage frizz.

If I do use a hairdryer, it can only be with a diffuser, and even then not for very long, just enough to start it drying - and DON'T touch your hair with your hands!

My hair only get blowdry when I go to hairdressers (3-4 times a year). They are long and thick, but I am too lazy. So on week days I wash hair in the evening when I come home and let it dry naturally. Sometimes I wash them just before going to bed, if frizzy in the morning, just run through with dump hair brush and they seem to go in place.

Charles Worthington Salon at Home pre-wash conditioner - it is like a wax which you warm up & melt between hands, and apply to hair.

Then leave for a few hours (or overnight) and wash and leave to dry naturally in the morning. I do pair this with JF Frizz Ease Serum which I apply to wet hair and then wrap in a microfibre hair turban from the pound shop.

Then after 30 mins or so - or when no longer dripping wet - take turban off to finish drying. Usually have smooth waves. (Naturally a frizz ball.)
