Low carbing question (is S&B related btw) will I look rubbish?!

I picked up a copy of Nerris and India's diet book for 50p at a jumble sale. Am thinking of doing the two week low carb at the beginning of the book. Only because I've been suffering from stress and drinking too much caffeine/wine etc. But my question is, will I look crap after doing this for two weeks as I have an event on 3 October?
Or will I look amazing. What is S&B gurus' experiences?

I've always found low carb suits me and I look and feel good. Normally days 3-5 are the hard ones. But it's not for everyone dh tried with me and felt so bad on it stopped on day 3.

I'd say worth a go and if not for you you'll know in a week.

My skin is always fabulous when I am completely on board with low carbing. Be prepared for carb flu in the first week or so but otherwise you should be looking and feeling great by then.

I agree with Katnip, look a bit grey and jaded day 3-5 then glowing and slimmer after 10 days. Perfect :)

Withdrawal symptoms. It can be a bit of a shock to the system to do without easy energy in the shape of sugar and carby foods.

Lots and lots of water, lots and lots of fats, plenty of salt on your food, will help to minimise it. If you're feeling really headachey make up a cup of stock and drink it. It will replace lots of minerals and electrolytes and such that you need in order to be properly balanced.

I've used the same book before. Worth reading the diary part as that will give you an idea of how you may feel at different stages.
