How, if at all, would you wear this dress in autumn/winter? Leggings, thick tights, 'nude' tights, or just put it away till spring?

Thanks!

It's not my kind of dress tbh, but have you tried it with opaques, boots and a denim or biker jacket?

burnishedsilver · 13/09/2015 13:12

I'd put it away until spring.

I love the dress and I would certainly wear it in autumn or winter with a cardie and a pair of boots possibly doc martens or biker style. A full length cardie might look nice. I have a nice one from M&S

Thanks for the ideas - any more?

I would put it away for spring/summer but that's just because it looks very summery to me. Darker colours, slightly less summery patterns would be fine.

It's nice. I would wear it . I hate having to wear dark colours throughout winter.

Would definitely wear it with thick tights. Could you get some long sleeves under it? Maybe brown, with brown tights and ankle boots. ( I have just the pair ;-). )

Because it was so lovely today. Actually spent lunchtime sun bathing, I thought sod it and put my engagement dress.

I've worn it once in three and a half years. It's off white, sleeveless with purple and pink flowers and I wore matching pink wedge sandals.

Life's too short not to wear our stuff. Well summer certainly is.

My hair was done yesterday too and I'm getting a dab hand with that bare minerals make up.

We went out for lunch and the manager of the restaurant complemented me on my dress.

Oh said I always look elegant. He's such a sweetie. I don't but if he thinks I do, well I'm not daft enough to argue ;-)

Oh yes if you love it and if darker colours feel too drab to you then absolutely, wear the brighter colours and patterns Smile
