If you have small feet, narrow ankles but wide calves is it possible to get boots?

I have size 4, narrow feet, slim ankles but wide calves (even at my slimmest I've never had standard boots fit). However if I try on a pair in a size 6 or above they usually zip up just fine which is really frustrating. They are slightly over 15inches in circumference meaning I should fit into standard boots but no hope in a size 4! Is it worth trying to stretch them? When I get wide fit boots they are baggy around the ankle.

I have large slim feet, narrow ankles and wide calves. I got fab boots in the sale from Jones the bootmaker, that follow my ankles and calves. Gabor do wide fit boots also that might be worth trying and then there are Ted and Muffy (Duo) although I have not had boots that came in at the ankle from them.

Marks have a good range at the mo, all under £100, with some wide fit, some with a lot of elasticated panels.

Duo boots do sizes on calf width as well as foot size.

I feel your pain, OP! My only pair is a pair of lace-up bikers (no zip). I love longer boots but fail miserably to do them up. (I'm size 3)

Someone on here recommended a Fly (can't remember which but they have a panel in them). They were too small for me but may be ok for you.

I've tried on one of the new Marksies range, though, with success! Yay! I might buy them when I've scraped enough money together.

This sizing problem really boils my pee. It must be such a common thing. 4 isn't really that small. I hope manufacturers wake up to it. They really are missing a trick.

Try Clarks Orinoco Tango. The ankle is surprisingly narrow and the calf is adjustable.

Thanks all, off to clarks and marks today. If that fails I'll look into Ted and Muffy- I am willing to pay for a pair that I actually love and don't just get as they fit my enormous calves! Absolutely- it drives me mad too, can't understand how there isn't a narrow, standard and wide fitting on at least some styles. I've been 8.5stone (sadly well above that now!) and size 8 and still not been able to zip up boots- very muscular calves I'm afraid!

You need lace up boots like Dr Marten triumph

I may be a bit late, but have a look at www.thebootmakers.com/. They do boots with individual measurements for both calf and ankle, whereas Duo (love them) only do calf fitting boots.
