Knickers...

Any recommendations of where to get knickers that are comfy, wash well and keep their shape? I usually wear high legs from M&S but the last ones that I bought did not keep their shape well after washing.
Thank you.

Sainsburys. I use their multipack ones as 'work knickers' as I have to be comfortable as I do lots of bending and stretching.

amarmai · 10/09/2015 20:36

m&s -lots of diff styles.

Naicecuppatea · 10/09/2015 20:45

Another vote for Sainsburys, comfier for me than M&S

After years of looking for ones that don't go up your bum, I found them in Primark.

The secret is to go for the ones with elasticated legholes. They do them in 5 packs.

Bliss.

I recently got a multipack from John Lewis. Got full briefs thinking they would not ride up and keep me covered but they are quite generous fitting! Maybe the midi type would have been ok but I rather like these and keep me contained! Plus very comfortable.

penny13610 · 10/09/2015 22:41

Pretty Poly from TKMaxx, just like M&S used to make.

Pantsalive · 10/09/2015 23:15

I used to love John Lewis high legs but they don't seem to do them anymore. I'm on the look out for recommendations too.

sksk · 11/09/2015 19:47

Any suggestions for underwear with wide gussets that cover the bottom? Shorts dig in and high legs ride up and dig in. I don't love full briefs but they seem to be the only style to keep me comfy. Probably need a 12.

Greengardenpixie · 11/09/2015 20:27

Got fed up so ended up with Sloggi's. Best pants ever.

CuttedUpPear · 11/09/2015 20:32

Pantsalive try those multipack ones from Primark that I mentioned. Elasticated legholes ensure full bottom coverage.

Sloggis are also fantastic but pricey.

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 12/09/2015 08:15

I just bought M&S midi pants, the multipack ones. They are great! Elasticated leg holes and good bum coverage mean for the first time in a long time, I don't have pants up my arse!

I did have no Vpl pants but they wander up my arse, as do short style pants.

BestIsWestOfGallifrey · 12/09/2015 08:25

I alway have these from M&S. Very comfy and usually in lots of colours [http://www.marksandspencer.com/lace-high-rise-midi/p/p22237172 lace legs]]. The wash well.

sksk · 13/09/2015 11:31

Good suggestions- no vpl ends in underwear in my bottom. I can live with a visible panty line if it means I can be comfortable! M and S is my go to usually. Will check out the lace high rise.

Ls24 · 14/09/2015 15:09

Thanks for the suggestions. Will check out Sainsburys and M&S.

I have heard other people talk about sloggis but I always thought they were expesnive and big pants. Do they do like normal high leg style or what would you recommend? No vpl would be good too!!

I like M&S too. Their garter style is cute and comfy and best of all, doesn't ride up.

leedy · 14/09/2015 15:58

Sloggi do all kinds of styles (including a particularly hideous shorts style with little legs that is nonetheless really comfy under skirts) and are extremely comfortable, but yeah, pricy.

M&S are pretty decent at the moment.

cressetmama · 14/09/2015 16:07

Tesco sells my favourite sloggi-style shorts, no side seams and no VPL. Two per pack, for about a fiver... in black, white and nude only. Wash okay, don't creep. Compared to a tenner a pair for real Sloggi!

LS24 · 14/09/2015 16:32

ok will look at tesco too. Are the sloggi ones that you are talking about the midi style? I see they also have ones called Tai...

Sainsbury's (I am not affiliated with them in any way!) - discovered them when post natal and needed practical knickers(!) and they are great.

Toffeelatteplease · 15/09/2015 14:58

Primark asda tesco

SirVixofVixHall · 15/09/2015 14:59

Sloggis seem to come up really small though, or is it just me? ... When I was a size 8 I bought the 12 as the 10 dug in. They seem to dig in at the top of the thighs, I want to find a Sloggi style that works for me, and I blame it on being chubbier, but they did this when I was thin too.
