Is there anything I can do about sideburns?

I have always been self-conscious about the hair that grows in front of my ears, like a little sideburn. I am more so now that my sidies are going grey (I know, try to contain yourself at the vision of attractiveness I currently represent).
But my question is - is there anything that can be DONE? Do I need a Lumea machine? Laser treatment? Something else? The idea of plucking or wax strips fills me with horror. And surely the only thing worse than sideburns would be to have stubble?!
Can anyone help?

You can get laser or a lumea, they will both work.

Your only other option is waxing/shaving. If you first shave the hair short with a trimmer and then wax it won't be too painful.

I get the sides of my face threaded and the lady trims them too. I'm not a hairy beast btw, but I have dark hair so you can see them more

Lumea will not work on grey hair.

Thanks all (belatedly!) looks like there isn't a consensus. But that saves me a panicky Lumea purchase! I quail at the thought of threading but maybe I should ask next time I have my eyebrows done... Hmmm. Thanks again.

I epilate. Have had threading which was more painful and left a pimply rash. So, epilation all the way. Much cheaper than Lumea.
