What to wear for travelling?

We fly to Gran Canaria tomorrow. So car journey, waiting at carpark for bus transfer to airport, milling around airport, flight, taxi, hotel.

I was going to wear a pair of jeans with some wedges with a chiffon type blouse.

I now realise it's turned to bloody winter out there and wonder if thats such a good idea. I don't really own any jackets so thats not an option.

Would you stick with what I decided on and freeze to death or pick something else and if so, what would you go for?

I tend to wear comfy clothes for travelling rather than smart clothes so I would wear the jeans, but with a t-shirt and a sweater, and trainers. I usually take a scarf with me to wear on the plane as they can be chilly.

I would bring a jumper or cardigan and a scarf.

I usually just travel in whatever I would usually wear - so jeans, flat shoes, a t-shirt and cardigan. Jacket/coat and scarf if it's cold.

I fly a huge amount and I go super casual for travelling, "fancy" sweats or nice leggings, nice oversized jumper or similar, big scarf and sunnies etc. Comfort first, always Grin

You don't need to dress nice for the plane, I go Business/First a fair bit and I still wear the above outfit, never been a problem.

Have a lovely holiday!

Jeans if they're comfy. I always travel in trainers so that I have a pair of running/ gym shoes with me. Layers - T shirt, wraparound cardi, pashmina. I go for comfort over style, though.

I say jeans with a t shirt or vest top plus a lightweight cardigan and scarf. You can whip off the cardie upon landing.

You will no doubt have to remove your wedges at security. So maybe consider a flat sandal to save the inconvenience.

Have anice holiday. V jealous.

Definitely comfort first, no question Smile
Jeans/trousers but not skintight because I tend to bloat a bit on planes.
Comfortable shoes or trainers.
Dress in layers - tee shirt, sweater, pashmina or scarf.
Have a great holiday!

Ok, jeans (they are skinny but comfy) flat sandles and chiffony blouse. Perhaps I might put a vest top under for warmth!

You'll be fine, he'll be fine :)

I think you need to take something more substantial. Don't forget you have to come back too and it'll be a week or two later into autumn plus you'll have got used to higher temperatures. It'll be miserable at the airport etc on the way back if you are freezing waiting for a shuttle bus. If it was me I'd probably be taking an autumn weight parka and a cardigan or jersey hoodie type thing at least!
