Not lift exactly immobalise

My lower back is "hypermobile" apparently

I have been wearing a support - but it's Waaaaay to bulky for under evening clothes so I'm trying to find an acceptable alternative

But do you get a VPL with them?

Katymac · 25/11/2006 19:43

Thanks anyway - I will find a solution I will look lovely & slim at the Christmas parties (I have lost so much weight I am not going to let a bulk support make me look lumpy & bumpy when I AM not)

Katy could you wear one of those Maternity support things that goes round your bump? I think they support the back as well, but am not sure. It would be a shame as you say not to be able to wear a slinky dress, there must be something out there...

you can get magic type support underwear that go right up to your chest as well, IIRC, it sounds like Malory has just the pants ones

Do they make much difference, Malory? You are quite slim to begin with, aren't you? I have often flirted with the idea of the magic waist ones as I am so straight up and down, but think they might be sweaty and / or uncomfortable

I think your sort would give me a shelf of squodge at the top

my tummy is flat at the bottom but have a nice little chunk of flob just above my belly button

I think I need the waist ones, my arse is ok since gym attendance

NomDePlume · 26/11/2006 09:23

I have the cycling shorts one and they are great. They come up a little higher than the granny ones but not as high as these little beauties

FrannyandZooey · 26/11/2006 09:26

God if there is one thing I don't need slimming it is my thighs

do they do ones with padded thighs for scrawny weeds?

NomDePlume · 26/11/2006 09:43

snigger

these have a normal knicker style leg

NomDePlume · 26/11/2006 09:44

I only got the cycling ones because I was paranoid about VPL

fin54 · 26/11/2006 19:20

Do they not roll down when you bend
