Yes, Wolpertinger is totally right, a lot of this is great advice for acne but could really trigger worse rosacea!
I think just forget that it's called 'acne' rosacea as it's so different to regular or cystic acne (veteran of both with vg skin now)
Roaccutane is fantastic for stubborn or cystic acne, but I feel it made my skin much more sensitive and partly the rosacea seems to be brought on by the sensitivity.
E.g. micellar water breaks me out which is SO annoying.
What has worked best for me is taking it right back to basics - oil cleanse (this either seems to be miracle cure or disastrous for people) with olive oil and castor oil mix - no lavender or anything else nice or fancy as it can trigger me. Then Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair at night and Ole Henrikson Nourish Me in the day. Both are expensive, but I save money with the cheap oil cleanser and both ANR and Nourish Me last a long time.
But the thing is, what you need to do is work out what irritates your skin - I have to introduce one product at a time and really monitor it - such a bore when have done a super drug haul or as lately, some korean skin care shopping. It seems completely illogical what is fine and what is not.
Rosex cream (not the gel that gps seem to always want to prescribe - for me, the gel sits on top, the cream soaks in) is good for any stubborn spots, but I can manage it mostly by care with products. Keep an eye on makeup triggers too.
IPL is really good for all kinds of skin problems, but not for those ttc sadly.
