it seems like such a simple request but I feel like I've tried a million brands and still not found THE ONE!

I never used to have dry skin but for the last few years I've suffered from it around my eyebrows, forehead, sides of my nose and occasionally my chin.

I finally found a super thick lovely hydrating moisturiser (Nivea rich moisturising day cream) but after a week of using it, I broke out in those horrible deep volcano spots. But it's the only thing I've found to keep my dry skin at bay!

I can't afford to spend a lot (maybe £15 a month at the VERY MOST) and hoped someone here could recommend something?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried the body shop vitamin E sorbet? It's pricey but lasts more than a month

The Body Shop's aloe range is fantastic for dry, flaky skin also Aldi's Restorative Day and night Cream

Oops posted too soonGrin

Aldi cream feels similar to clarins although the smell is different.

The best thing for my flaky skin has been to double cleanse with E45 wash or Aqueous cream and then use E45 moisturiser or Allergenics from Holland and Barrett. Plain and un exciting but works a treat.

I've found hyaluronic acid the best thing for my dry skin. Look up CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion.

I use E45 itch relief cream as my daily moisturiser - not the standard one, the itch relief one that comes in a metal tube (you can find it next to the other ones) super hydrating (probably due to e45 Magic) but super light too so doesn't sit on your skin or clog you up! About £3.50 from boots I think and will last you longer than a month!
