Please help - sick of having to wash and style my hair every morning!

I'm sick of having to wash and style my hair every morning. But if I don't it's a greasy oily ugly mess.

Not only do I seem to produce enough oil on my face and head every night to keep my local chippy going for a week, but my hair also sticks up everywhere. Brushing it alone doesn't help.

I don't have a complicated style. It's mid length with a few layers and a fringe.

Please tell me what I can do to look vaguely presentable in the mornings!

Root perm - they just perm the first inch or two of your hair.

Love the tip to do the dry shampoo before bed and brush first thing.

How was it this morning?

I have this problem and I've found that all the dry shampoo, trying to style it, washing it before bed and trying not to mess it up during the night is a lot more hassle and a lot more time consuming than just washing and drying it every morning.

Puss I've been using this l'oreal one after someone recommended it on here. It's really good on the ends of hair for smoothing out frizzies.

I might have to agree Blueberry! Maybe I just need to be quicker in the mornings. I don't even have dc or anything and I still seem to take forever!

It was ok this morning. Had to re do my fringe which makes it more greasy so I've already used more dry shampoo.

I'm going out tonight straight from work which means I probably won't wash it before bed (two glasses of wine and I'll fall over in the shower!)

I'll have to do it in the morning anyway

Why hasn't someone invented a thing that you stick your head into every morning, you press a button and your hair and make up are done?!

I get away with every 5 days! My hair is really long and thick too. It had to be trained but it's possible. I don't hAve a fringe though and when I did it got greasy! Can you pin your fringe off your face for bed?

I find washing my hair every two days works best - I used to wash every day but somehow this made my hair greasier? Maybe too frequent use of product? I dint know but strange as it seems it might be worth trying washing less?

I know the advice generally is to use less product if you have greasy hair, but if you do have to wash every day, using something like Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum pretty much halves the drying time.

What I do most days us shower, wash hair, then apply frizz ease & comb through. Then I get dressed, have breakfast etc. My hair's probably about 80% dry by this point so I blast with hairdryer until almost dry (2 mins?) then use a brush right at the end to blow dry. Takes hardly any time but the key is letting your hair dry naturally for the most part rather than trying to blow dry from completely wet. I'm showered and out the house in about 45 minutes.
