What to wear on nights out in the summer - dont say a dress

Does anyone else find this when jeans might be a little too sweltering?

Lovely links. I am quite different in shape so you'll hate my choices but was out Thurs (I know! Mid-week, get me) and wondered exactly wtf to wear. Ended up in usual uniform, black skinnies, white tee and I rooted out a zara scarf-print jacket from years ago. One woman wore a denim mini and a lovely slouchy glitter knitted top, v neck and v back. Cold night, she had semi opaques and ankle boots. Lovely on her. Sounds Christmassy, wasn't.
Another had harems and high heels. Most everyone was in a jeans outfit of some type.

I have only ever bought sandals from Johnny B, funny it's for teenagers yet it goes up to size 42!

Semi opaque woman looked great. Seriously. Had a moment of girl-crush actually.

I've just had a moment of girl crush in the pub, over a woman in a polka dot skirt and a little veiled hat!

I wore black rolled up skinnies, Whistles t-shirt, grey fabric biker, a black fedora and trainers. V casual, but I was pleased with it.
