do these things actually exist???

I've been looking at black Nike Roche? I need some trainers that are pretty universal in terms of what they can be worn with, but they need to be comfortable, supportive, and not flat like converse, also I don't think I'd get my feet into converse either, they're quite wide. I'll try anything though, even no makes like newlook or whatever. It's literally for walking over the summer. I have a pair of wide fitting simply be converse shnideys that I had on today and my feet are killing Sad

please s&b gurus, help me find the perfect trainer!!!

I agree, BitOutOf toddler ravioli refuses to walk. Although in her defence she did walk the length of the pier at out local beach, and that's pretty long Grin

Coastingit isn't what you describe as bloggers fads erm...fashion ? SmileConfused

sleepwhenidie · 15/07/2015 20:39

Did you get lost in S&B on your way to a more serious topic perhaps? Grin

RavioliOnToast · 15/07/2015 20:48

Are you in Essex Ravioli? Grin

monkeysmama · 15/07/2015 20:51

I don't find Stan Smiths comfortable. Adidas Superstars are much more comfortable and supportive. I like these black and gold Adidas at the moment they go with dresses, jeans, jumpsuits etc.

BitOutOfPractice · 15/07/2015 20:51

BTW I quite like those but the colours aren't very neutral if you want them to go with a lot of things

Ah, it's just that we have the longest pleasure pier in the world here

GeorginaWorsley · 15/07/2015 21:00

remus
I love your outfit boards! !

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/07/2015 21:02

Sadly I look more like Minnie Mouse crossed with a deranged cat lady, but hey ho! Grin

MyFirstMyLastMyEverythingBagel · 15/07/2015 21:22

I've got the all black roshe runs I love them they go with literally everything - I'm a size 6 / 7 and the Junior size 6 fit me fine, sooo comfy! Footlocker in the bridges have them in and as a plus the kids ones are only £35 as opposed to £70 Grin I also like the Adidas zx flux they go nice with jeans etc and they look quite street with a midi skirt / shorts. There was a sale on the Adidas website it might still be on? Again really comfy and lots of different designs to choose from

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/07/2015 21:23

My kiddie ones were £40, and a bargain at that!

RavioliOnToast · 15/07/2015 21:24

are you a fellow sunderland-er MyFirst ? will definitely have a look in the bridges, £35 is much nicer figure than £70 Grin

Coastingit · 15/07/2015 21:25

Eh sleepwhenidie? Did you pop on specially to have a go at me? Or do you have an actual opinion for the OP?

Pretty sure opinions are allowed on here without being snarked at - it's usually newcomers to S and B who get upset by contrary opinions, so are you sure it's not you who is a bit lost? Wink

Apologies Remus and others if you're actually mortally offended, of course.

Coastingit · 15/07/2015 21:26

Oh yes Remus it's great having small feet - Russell and Bromley children section is ace.

MyFirstMyLastMyEverythingBagel · 15/07/2015 21:29

They are an absolute steal Remus, the most comfortable shoes I own!

I am ravioli ???? get a pair of roshes and you'll be running along that pier toddler and buggy board in toe!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/07/2015 21:32

Not offended at all. I like them, and I deffo don't look like a blogger!

MyFirstMyLastMyEverythingBagel · 15/07/2015 21:37

In my head I look like the girls Remus linked to so i don't care what others think haha
I have a love of Breton, skinny jeans, roshe runs and a ombré hair and I am totally unapologetic Shock

sleepwhenidie · 15/07/2015 21:50

Wasn't snarking Coasting, just pulling your leg Confused, I've spent more than enough time on s&b to think that it was fairly lighthearted, obviously my mistake ! Just out of interest though, what suggestion did you make for OP? All I read was 'meh, they look a bit wanky and shit but better than sandals I suppose...'

Coastingit · 15/07/2015 21:56

I suppose my opinion is that trainers worn with dresses and skirts etc usually don't look great. So I can't really help, OP! But plenty on here think they do and I'm not trying to change anyone's mind - just giving my opinion, and I thought it was a good idea to as everyone else who had posted so far likes the look. I'm off now as I'm a bit Confused at having to defend myself for having a different viewpoint tbh.

gerbiltamer · 15/07/2015 22:35

I like my Nike Air Rifts. I have damaged my second toe and am scared of wearing my Birkies in London.
