Restylane skinboosters?

Has anyone had superficial hyaluronic acid injections (Restylane Vital skin boosters or Juvederm Hydrate)? I went to a aesthetics clinic last week for Voluma on my cheeks - mainly to get rid of my smile lines - and the nurse practitioner suggested skin boosters to deeply hydrate the area, as my skin around my mouth is getting prematurely "saggy", as well as being extremely dry since I went on a course of Accutane.
I looked for reviews online but couldn't find anything... just doctors' websites advertising it, but no real reviews from people who had the procedure. It seems fairly low risk, but I want to know how good the results are. She quoted £750 for 3 treatments (1 per month, over 3-6 months) and £350 per maintenance treatment every 6 months. It's a big investment, so it better work!

I'd not go to a nurse , full stop. You ought to see a doctor and someone who has a good reputation - unless they are nurses working in tandem with a dr.

OP is not asking who to go to she's asking if anyone's had the treatment and if it works Hmm

I'm also interested OP.. I've had traditional fillers - the ones more focussed on moisturisation have been suggested to me but I'm not sure if the results would make it worth the money..

Thanks pinkfrocks - I am a dr myself so totally understsnd your concern. This nurse works at a dr's clinic. The doctor (very well recommended here on MN) came to see me to give her opinion, but the nurse was the one who actually administered the injections. if you think that doctors from all specialties are allowed to work with aesthetic medicine, I really don't mind going to a nurse as long as 1) they are well trained and qualified, and 2) there is a doctor backing them up and taking responsibility in case something goes wrong (which I hope is rare!) Grin

Anyone with experience of Restylane skin boosters? I'm going back to the clinic for a review in August and may decide to have tje skinboosters if I'm convinced they will work...

Hi Mcmc... Did you ever have skin boosters? If yes, what did you think? Contemplating this as looks not too permanent.

It is my understanding that getting a practitioner who uses filler via a cannula gives a better result
A f of a f has had the cannula filler and it has transformed her face
