Eyebrow tinting

Has anyone has their eyebrows tinted? I have noticed a few grey hairs in my eyebrows, I don't want to pluck them as my brows are thinner than they used to be so want to leave them alone.

Where do you go, any bog standard beauty salon? Is it permanent?

Do it, do it, do it!

I asked the very same question here a few months ago and I do it monthly now.

I go to my regular beauty salon and get a tint and shape. I go for a medium brown colour. The very first day I got it done, I got a fright the first few times I looked in the mirror lol. But after a day I couldn't be without them and they've made such a difference to my face.

Mine really only last a week to 2 weeks but my beautician says that that's just because I don't notice them anymore Hmm

Thanks, does the tint make them much more 'there'?

Yes I tint mine and makes them look so much better. Once a month I get them tinted and shaped and it's helped me grow back the bits that were patchy before!

I get mine threaded and tinted every 4 weeks, only takes a few minutes and saves faffing round with eyebrow pencils!

FoodieMum3 · 01/07/2015 09:54

Yes, very much 'there'.

I have fair eyebrows and fair/mousy brown hair and they look SO much better now.

I have dark hair and dark eyebrows but don't want them to look scary! Grin

I get mine tinted, I have dark hair and dark eyebrows but for some reason when my eyebrows are freshly waxed its like the narrower part can't be seen so without tinting I look like I have half an eyebrow on each eye!

also tinting means I don't have to worry about filling them in with powder or pencil etc.

Another saying do it! I'm a bit evangelical about the wonders of eyebrow tinting. I rarely wear makeup in the day, but having my eyebrows done make me feel so much more put together.

I used to get them done professionally, but have just discovered home tinting (£6ish a tube). I won't dye my hair at home or self-tan as have form for getting it wrong, but this was ridiculously easy and took ten minutes.

Dancergirl · 01/07/2015 16:16

Where do you get the home kits from fil?

Although I think I'll get them done professionally the first time.

It's the Eyelure Pro-Brow one in Dark Brown. I got it from Amazon but sure Boots etc sell it too. Apparently, it can also be used for eye lashes, but not sure I'd do that myself....

I didn't get on with Eyelure, so I use this Strictly Professional Eyelash & Eyebrow Tint Brown - 15ml www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002AD8VEW/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_yLcLvbQB4KARC
