New shop needed for DH

Ok, so DH needs a new shop from which to buy his clothes. Yep, just the one; he can't cope with too much "shopping". He used to buy all his clothes at Next - I disapproved - too boring and middle aged - but he liked it so fair enough. Then he discovered that Next is a huge Tory party donor so he can't go there any more. Some more info:

M&S - too boring and his mum shops there
Zara - too metro
Fatface - too try hard and fake
Ted Baker etc - too expensive

He's late 30s, very tall, also slim.

Asos men and Yukka

Didn't get to finish. Yukka is good for taller men

Not one shop for dh as he likes variety, tends to shop at
Jack wills - jackets - undies - shirts
Joules - polo shirts - jumpers - socks
Debenhams everything else

TK Maxx? Lots of different styles and brands in one shop.

dp does well at H&M. And there's always Primark. Can't guarantee none are Tory party donors though, most large companies make political donations, usually Tory ones.

If he insists on just one shop (weirdo) make it a department store! Debenhams is probably the best option if he's just "graduated" from H&M.
Otherwise I'd say Gap could be a good option?

DH is a Debenhams man. They have quite a few brands, so good variety, it's not bad quality and not expensive.

Won't set the world on fire trend-wise, but it doesn't sound like that's what your DH is after.

Crew?

Gap or crew.
H lives in crew for all tops. Boden for jeans and gap for everything else.
He used to be a stone island, Hugo boss, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren man but the budget doesn't stretch that far these days.
He will occasionally shop in fat face, but if I buy from crew I know I'm on safe ground.

DH ONLY buys from Boden for basics/weekend dad type wear and Ted Baker for 'nicer' bits. He is incapable of even considering anywhere else. He does actually look rather dapper, mind you.

My OH hates shopping. He doesn't mind going into House of Fraser as it's a one stop shop. He likes Ralph Lauren, ted baker, gap and Hugo boss.

The brands are expensive, but he only really wears jeans and t-shirts - the jeans are expensive, but the shirts can be picked up in sales.

He also has stuff from river island, sports direct and uniqlo.

Thanks all! Yeah - the one shop thing isn't a must but basically he has v little headspace for this type of thing so one shop is much much easier. Hence debenhams or similar not good (although I see why it's been recommended!) as it's actually several shops. Will check out Crew!

Lol oh gosh maybe not Yukka then. DP buys jeans from there and the quality has always been good. He uses H&M, Zara and Burton for tops which don't sport the semi naked women all over..as far as I'm aware anyway! Pearsons is a good place to look too

DH is casual for work and home, age 28 if that helps. lives in Gap and Joules when he is buying for himself, except for jeans from Levis.

He has received gifts from Crew and loves them, but we don't have one and he isn't travelling to shop!

Uniqlo would be good as well.

Carhartt. Cool, but not try-hard. Quite pricey, but does last. My DP is a 'one-shop' type of guy, and it's Carhartt for casual, M&S or Austin Reed for suits.

I suggested this place to another MNetter with a similar problem, and it went down very well.

Thanks everyone! Just a little update - he has had a grand success with asos and is now the proud owner of two new pairs of shorts and some t shirts hooray!!

Ps Carhartt look real go too, but he'd already filled his trolley at asos, so to speak.
