I have fine, limp, pathetic blonde hair and borrowed a BBH which left a tangled frizzy result. Is there anything that Is going to work?? Why doesn't it look like the beautiful results on YT?!

Forgot to mention that if it becomes faulty Conair will replace it. I have never had one repaired. They just send a new one. Their Customer Service dept is good. There have a 3 year warranty.

Rushing to the defence of my beloved Big Hair which has transformed my hair!

Am on my 2nd BBH (didn't think about the warranty!!) and wouldn't be without it. I use a smoothing creme (whatever is on offer) for during drying. I have beyond shoulder length hair so section and dry one section at a time, first rolling it in the brush on spinning mode and pulling it away from the head. When I have the shape I want I then roll it in the rush agsin but then hold it again at the roots to get plenty of volume. I finish with Moroccan/mythic oil to prevent the frizzies. Mine usually lasts 2-3 days in between washes

I'm in Nz, we do have Frizz Ease here. Will try those products. Though I'm thinking blow drying it first might be the key.

Definitely blast it with the dryer first until its almost dry - then do it in sections rather than in one big chunk. The pp explained the technique brilliantly Smile

I was completely underwhelmed when I first used my BBH - I think I expected to vaguely waft it over my hair and see a complete transformation....! I have persevered and now love it - my hair has to be almost completely dry before I use it (hair dryer not air dried), otherwise it's rubbish. The biggest difference is the following day, when I can now usually get away with just brushing my hair, rather than needing to style it - this is life changing for me! And not using straighteners on it every day means my hair is in better condition than before too. I think I need to get the smaller barrel, though, for optimal results

ExitStageLeft · 26/06/2015 07:56

I've just had mine replaced by conair with a brand new 50mm one. They take patience to learn to use correctly but my sister just used mine (hasn't washed her own hair in 10 years) and she couldn't believe the results. You really need to use it to style, not dry your hair. An?one got the perfect curl thing?

I love my BBH. I've been growing out a fringe but I was killing it with straighteners and the end kept breaking off, leaving me with a stubbly frizzy fringe, not a good look! But now I'm using a lower heat with the BBH my fringe is growing out and I can cover my PCOS balding patch better Grin plus it makes the lengths of my hair all swooshy! I use Organix argan oil on towel dried hair, blast it with the hair dryer til almost dry and then section off and use the BBH as my hair is past my shoulders. The change in the shine and strength of my hair since using it is really amazing.
