This morning my hairdryer ceased working. It is an ex-hairdryer. My colleagues were saved boufy hair as i have a crappy portable fold up jobby which I use for holidays.

But I need a replacement. What are the suggestions?

I'm begging my hairdryer to cease working so I can justify getting a Parlux dryer. Used a friends recently and couldn't recommend enough. Drying time was halved and a much smoother finish with very little effort.

I've got a Parlux one. It's good, but it does seem to get hotter than my previous one (a Babyliss). Which has once resulted in me singeing my hair. Looks extra nice when your hair is naturally white, now with a tobacco-yellow bit.

My hairdresser picked me one from the hairdresser warehouse when he went. It is bloody amazing.

Veloce 3800 PRO diva professional styling.

I think it was about £70

It has a mega long flex and dries my thick crazy hair in 8 mins as opposed to 20 with my old dryer.

I have a parlux too. It does get very hot - I have to take my rings and necklace off because it heats them up to burning. It is amazing though it makes my hair unbelievably soft and swishy.

I have a parlux and a GHD. Both good

Thanks .. Will get googling tomorrow ....

Love my Parlux too, even though it was pricey.

travailtotravel · 19/06/2015 22:25

Hmm - the velcoe one is about £40, the rest £70 or so. Hmm, can I justify the difference? I just found a £10 amazon voucher which will help but even so ...

Mine lasted forever until I decided to change it and this ones crap - waiting for it to die before I get another eti
