BB /CC cream with really red cheeks

my face is awful. absolutey red raw, the full lengths of my cheeks from eyes to jawbone are a deep red colour. I currently use vichy dermablend or Mac full coverage, which does cover, would a BB or cc cream out there work? or are they very light designed for minimal coverage? thanks!

Have you seen a dermatologist? I think if it itches and stings then it isn't just high colouring but some sort of allergy or skin condition.

I know several people with naturally red cheeks but it is just the colour it isn't sore or angry.

Your skin is beautiful, honestly! I would definitely go to the GP though, I have rosacea and used to get red patches but it's moved on to spots over my cheeks Sad it's best to get it treated (if it is rosacea) before it moves on to stage 2.

I think you need to see your GP and get referred to a dermatologist . It does look sore, more than just naturally high colouring . Your skin looks beautifully clear apart from the high colour . In the interim, I agree that a mineral powder foundation may be the easiest solution, especially as you have your hands full. I use the Clinique More than powder compact foundation, very quick to use or the BD powder foundation from Tesco, a brilliant budget find . These tone down my flaming (in every sense!) cheeks .

Your skin looks really beautiful, I've always wanted high color like that I'm just blotchy, but please see your GP and ask for a referral. My entire family has erythematoteleangiectatic rosacea (yes a mothful), left untreated it can really damage your skin, mine is under control but many in my family have permanent skin changes (visible thread veins, permanently slapped-red noses and cheeks, coarse-textured skin). There are now many things that can help so please talk to a specialist!

Here is a blog on having rosacea, rosacea.org is useful too.

Clarifying, not meaning that you need to read all that stuff on medication in the blog (the trreatment options are something that you should discuss with a doctor), just scroll down and see her good day skin /bad day skin pictures.

When looking closely at my face in the mirror, I have those spidery thread veins near my nose. Will try both the clinique and the BD powder foundation. And also LL, I have the real techniques brushes so will have a play around with that. I'm just about to google Blush Away as I remember being very young (10/11) and my mam bought me a green base as recommended by DR's but it looked ridiculous of course as I didn't wear any makeup on top Hmm

I've never been able to wear any green concealers before the LL Blush Away, I agree they all look ridiculous.

sorry I didn't get back to you last night. so am I right in thinking the Lily Lolo is a mineral corrector? I'm guessing it isn't as harsh or as green in colour as a green foundation? can you put Bb cream on top of the powder?

Bourjois CC Cream is recommended on here a lot, I recently tried it and love it too, lightweight but plenty of coverage for evening out the skintone, it has colour correcting pigments that may counteract the redness you have.

The Blush Away is a green powder corrector so you put LL mineral foundation on top.
