A really good night cream or something of that ilk, or a facecare routine.

I am rubbish at face care and the years are starting to show.

I currently use
superdrug hot cloth scrub stuff probably once every 3 days
nivea soft or steam cream when I remember
Lovely lavendar night cream almost never but I mean to every night I just forget when I go to bed.
So is there hope for me?

I love lush and neals yard and burts bees, that kind of thing. Has anyone got any recomendations for a skincare routine that I might actually stick to?
TIA

OP if you don't have £££ to spend on a serum try Superdrug's own brand vitamin E one. It's cheap and often on a half price or bogof offer. I've been following the 'face' thread and have been experimenting with more expensive serums using free samples, but I keep coming back to my trusty Superdrug one.

I wanted to come back and thank you all, especially Nabootique. I have this week been using what I have in the house. I bought the body shop vvit e serum in oil as well but not splashed out on the night cream just yet.

I have been
am - hot cloth cleanser
nivea soft
sun cream with moisturisers

pm - hot cloth cleanser
nivea (the original one in the blue tub)
body shop oil

I swear I can see a difference already, its amazing. I have stuck to it and actually enjoyed doing it .

Some of you with difficult skins might be interested in these products

www.pravera.co.uk/lavera-natural-cosmetics/about-lavera-natural-cosmetics

I'm trying to use as few chemicals on my body as possible. I make my own deoderant, use faith in nature on my hair etc

Anyway my daughter bought me some lavera cream. Smelled gorgeous but a bit drying ( this is the yellow one in a tin )

So waste not want not, I tipped the tin full into a mixing bowl, added some coconut oil, gem water, Shea butter, wheat germ oil , jojoba oil, avocado oil and evening primrose oil and about 10 drops of frankincense essential oil. Packed it into a clean jar and the rest in a bigger jar and left in the fridge.

After a hot wash with cloth I use the cream leave my skin to absorb, tissue off the rest and then apply makeup.

My skin doesn't have that dry feel it used to get.

I do the same at bedtime.

It won't suit everyone but I'm happy with it.

Oh good, dita! It's amazing what a difference washing your face twice a day makes, isn't it?
