Is anyone else completely dependent on BBH to do their hair?

I'm guilty as charged. I've got shoulder length, straight-ish hair with long layers, and the only appliance that can style my hair properly is BBH. I live in fear of BBH ever being discontinued, or being stuck on a desert island without one. I go away quite a lot, and it's a bulky appliance to pack, but I've now bought the Dual BBH, which has two brushes, so it comes apart.

So as much as I love my BBH, I do wish I could manage without one, but I can't!

Yep me.
Hair is a big mess otherwise but can do it in five mins now!
Mine broke the other day and I looked horrible for a week.
Never thought I would be so attached to an appliance!

Me. Am ashamed to say am already worried that it will break down on holiday so am considering bringing my back up BBH. Don't think I'll bring a back up for my back up so I like to think I'm quite relaxed.

Clara I'm also worried about a BBH failure during my holidays. I may pack my older, non rotating hot air styler as a back-up (this isn't quite as effective as BBH, but would be better than nothing in an emergency). I will also be packing lots of hair clips/slides so that I can put my hair up, in the event of a total hair appliance fail (ie power cut).
