Clinique happy citrus is gorgeous

AmelieinOz · 10/05/2015 07:18

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Yuzu. It's like spring in a bottle.

I second the Clarins suggestion, it's lovely. Or Moschino Cheap n Chic smells so nice & is long lasting

CatSwag · 18/05/2015 13:52

L'Occitane Verbena is the best one ive tried so far

I also reid jo Malone blackberry, orange blossom, and the lime one
but none of them smelt right on my skin after a short time

I think my skin/oil makes things smell horrible
however I can spray it on my clothes for a better fragrance

trie marc Jacobs daisy, which I mght buy as pleasures bloom[yes seet florals not fresh lemon]
seem to work with my skin better though or something

I will keep working dow this list and I shall try everyone on this list but atm L'Occitane Verbena is my winner

I have Daisy and it's nice but I can't really smell it on me.

I have Happy and don't like it, only a few squooshes out if it, if anyone fancies a swop?

GrimDamnFanjo · 20/05/2015 15:17

Have a look over at 4160tuesdays. Some amazing scents there...

polyhymnia · 20/05/2015 15:22

Clarins Eau Dynamisante s my everyday first thing in morning favourite. Lives up to its name.
Also love Annick Goutal Eau d' Hadrien.

Coincidenceschmoincidence · 20/05/2015 21:49

I love citrus perfumes.
Truth by Calvin klein is lovely and I get compliments every time I wear it.
I also have jo malone Orange blossom, nectarine and blackberry and bay
And l'occitane verbena
Dkny red delicious is also yummy, and I've worn daisy for years too.

You are my perfume people :0)

Tweezertastic · 20/05/2015 21:59

L'occtaine verbena. But a verbena pouch of minis from John Lewis for £20 I think and you get a mini verbena perfume. So if it's a passing interest then you haven't paid out loads of money.

doctorboo · 21/05/2015 05:48

I had a spritz of CK One Summer in boots the other day and liked it enough as an easy everyday scent that I had a look online at prices that afternoon (several hours later). Haven't got it yet, had to buy school shoes instead.

BadgersArse · 21/05/2015 06:23

Didn't Lancôme used to do a green one

Lucy61 · 21/05/2015 06:36

Another one for Clinique Happy- fresh and lasts as its eau de parfum. Not out of fashion at all.

honeylou42 · 21/05/2015 06:38

Badgers i just came on to suggest that one, it's O de Lancome and smells amazing Smile

wildfig · 21/05/2015 10:23

My favourite 'cologne after a shower on a hot day' fragrance is Space NK's Laughter. Really crisp and refreshing and uplifting and green.

Yardley also has some hidden gems - Royal Diamond and English Daisy are both light, fresh, delicate, summery colognes, and a complete bargain. I got a huge bottle of Royal Diamond eau de cologne in a Boots sale for about a fiver; it's very similar to Chloe.

BadgersArse · 21/05/2015 18:05

just went to Loccitane to try out the verbena ones
Its nice but I sprayed it a 4 and can barely smell it now

Carpaccio · 21/05/2015 18:28

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Limon Verde is lovely - smells like freshly cut limes, then get a bit sweeter during the day.

Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil - mango and grapefruit.

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Herba Fresca is amazing - like herbs and freshly cut grass.

Bond No 9 Hamptons is one of my favourite perfumes. Floral and citrus, not too sweet. It's very similar to Creed Silver Mountain Water.

itsveryyou · 22/05/2015 02:46

I love Gucci Flora. Delicious, summery, light but long lasting and pretty.

AwayAndRunUpMaHumf · 22/05/2015 05:11

I wear L'Occitane Verbena most days, dh says I smell like I've bathed in Lemsip Grin I love it though.

LeoandBoosmum · 22/05/2015 14:21

Fresh perfumes are gorgeous with the added bonus that you won't smell like every one else!
The following ones might appeal:

Life

Hesperides

Citron de vigne

Sugar is also gorgeous, as is Fig Apricot which was brought back due to demand.

Here is the site:

www.fresh.com/US/fragrance/eau-de-parfum/

They do soaps too, in the same scents which are cheaper and still gorgeously lasting on the skin

They have a London store: 0207 486 4100

LeoandBoosmum · 22/05/2015 14:40

Oh, should have said that there are reviews on their site for each perfume.
