Muslin cloths questions

I can't deny that using muslin cloths for cleansing seems the best thing for my skin. When I go back to wipes and cotton wool my skin doesn't feel the same. However, I do have some issues. How do you go on when you go away, do you take one cloth for each day and how do you wash them? At home do you generally find washing them and storing them causes extra hassle? Also I don't feel they remove my black eyeliner properly but I don't want to have to use a separate eye make up remover. I use Liz Earle cleanser by the way which is good for my skin.

I tend to buy c&p with the muslin cloths then keep a few to take away and just bin them when done. As for make up I find it removes all my mascara and eyeliner.. Are you giving it a good rub in for wiping off?

Just use flannels - much better in my opinion and you can buy loads very cheaply. I use one in the morning and a clean one at night. But I do double cleanse as well so use make up remover first then go in with a balm and flannel.

If you go to a sewing shop say, fabric land, you can buy muslin by the metre for farrrr cheaper then buying the Liz Earle cloths. Just double up the material, cut into squares and stitch around the edge!

I use c&p and have done for years so have loads of Liz Earle ones. Take a few when away. Hand wash and leave to dry somewhere in the hotel. Works for me.

I had a stash of the DCs baby muslins languishing at the back of the cupboard. I ripped each one into 4 pieces and they work great, wash easily and dry quickly.

They'd be quite easy to take travelling?

I just take a few away and rinse out and leave to dry in the bathroom when I'm away. Take a small freezer bag to bring any wet ones home in.

At home I use flannels, clean one every day then bung it in the wash. Wilkos do great ones for 33p do I have about 20 so I never run out.

I use Loreal micellar gel eye make up remover before double cleansing.
