I have bought what is prob a ridiculous frock. Not even just one. I've bought two. In both colours but I have no idea how I'm going to wear it or where!!!

I don't know if that link will work! I've ordered it, I may or may not be very premenstrual Blush I do however what could kindly be termed as eclectic taste when it comes to style. It is widely accepted I am like a tomboy style bonham Carter. But I fear even I may have gone too far this time,....

Well you will all be pleased to know I have attempted to cancel my order. So perhaps I shall never know just how glorious it would really have been in RL.

this is a bit more like the blog post one and has buttons so you can show off your great tits - i like the idea you are going for but sometimes real life is incompatible with a look you'd like...i had to accept a floor skimming sequin maxi was not going to work on the school run even with flip flops, a white vest and a denim jacket...sigh...

Fierceflora · 08/05/2015 17:34

See FauxFox id be all OVER that look! Oh yeah! I've worm some very ahem interesting outfits on the school run and to aldi Grin
Hmm I like that but it's sooo solid I think id bake in it! I like the shape, but think it'd be too thick fabric. Sweaty pits would not enhance that frock in any way

Real life is sartorially soooo

I know - I have gone there with 50's full circle frocks and a denim jacket but the idea of the sequin maxi trailing in the dirt was too depressing...Grin

Fierceflora · 08/05/2015 17:39

Try pinning it half way up into your pants, that'll work!

Or roll up the waistband like you're 13 all over again Grin

Dh has always said I'll be the mad old woman at the bus stop in a ball gown and wellies with fushxia lippy all over my face and teeth. And I was like 'I hardly think so darling, I don't take buses' Wink true fact

Oh I am definitely going to be a mad old lady dresser - I am a big fan of party dresses with a denim or leather jacket and bike boots for everyday - I hardly go to any parties and why should that stop me wearing lovely things?

I am compromising by considering a denim maxi instead - it looks a good shape, very tempted...www.asos.com/Mango/Mango-Long-Denim-Skirt-With-Sash/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=5163766&cid=2639&Rf989=5049&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=204&sort=-1&clr=Blue&totalstyles=72&gridsize=3

well its ordered so you might as well try it on. A full slip on the black one [ black slip] could look ok. The white is net curtain territory. Tbh, it looks quite clingy too.

Greengardenpixie · 13/05/2015 18:26

How did it go? Did you keep it?

Twinklestein · 13/05/2015 18:44

This is what you need to wear under it.
