Would you have botox

I have a few wrinkles coming and am considering following my friends down the botox route. Has anyone got any personal experiences of this treatment. Good, bad or indifferent.

Someone linked on here the other day to a forum for women who have had serious adverse reactions to botox - gotta say I would never chance it now after reading that!

Also think it makes sense that paralyzing the muscles might lead to wastage down the line. I'm doing Eva Fraser facial exercises in the hope of coming at the issue from the other direction Grin time will tell! I figure it is free and quick and big-time so why not?

No I wouldn't have it because if you have difficulty dealing with the first signs of ageing where does it stop? First botox and then fillers and when sagging occurs how will you deal with that a face lift?

I have been thinking about fillers for two years but have done nothing about it and hope that I don't give in as others have said it is when our face sags that will cause more distress than wrinkles.

Have been doing Eva Fraser exercise for a year to hopefully stop the sagging but as my mum has jowls as did my granny I'm not holding my breath.

Those frownies look good,
First I've ever heard of them!

No way would I ever have Botox unless for medical reasons. Especially not on the face.

Never no way it's not natural

No way grow old gracefully and embrace it

I'm 45 and waa thinking of it - but now no. Wondering how long the women here have been having it done. I worked out my mate since 2000, that's 15 years. She hasn't had fillers by the way. She looks weird. You are not meant to paralyse muscles - it's not nature. My 20 something students have frown lines and some even signs of 11s or whatever you call them, trying to erase signs of ageing is not good for us or our daughters. It sends out a terrible message and sorry - your faces will look weird after using this stuff for over a decade - poison is poison.
