Where can I buy well-cut, grown-up, good quality T-shirts?

I've been on the look out for a decent T-shirt for some time now, but all the brands I've tried end up stretched after one wash, lose shape, bobble, are too clingy/too short etc.

Where can I find a really good quality T-shirt that ticks the following boxes:

• Stands up to frequent washing (I have a toddler....)
• Cotton
• Longer length (I am tall but with curvy hips so about 90% of high street brands' T-shirts ride up, unless they are an 'oversize' style)
• Has a bit of a fluid /swing to it (i.e. won't cling to my top half)
• Looks a bit more grown up /polished/can be worn to work

I am happy to pay a bit more (ok, not designer prices but around £30) if I know the quality will last and it is a good investment.

Should I just give up now...?

I've just asked dh to pick me up some linen t-shirts in Gap which I hope will meet the same criteria.

Cos tshirts are nice.

The Gap ones are nice kanyes - are you getting them from the US? I find that American GAP tops tend to be longer than European Gap.

I do like cos, never had a look at their tshirts though.

Yes, he's in the US so I'm making sure I get some benefit from his jolly very important meetings. I just hope the shirts aren't too sheer.
