Seventeen do a great non sparkly bronzer, apparently it's a dupe for. Nars one.

TongueBiter · 04/05/2015 19:03

Boots Collection (matte).

The body shop have good Matt ones in various shades. For a more expensive one Hoola by benefit.

Bellejessleo · 04/05/2015 19:51

Rimmell do a non sparkly one, it's cheap and u can get it in tesco.

housemoverihope · 04/05/2015 19:52

Another recommendation for body shop, found it recommended on amodelrecommends and it's a perfect colour with no sparkle.

Kennington · 04/05/2015 20:09

The bourjois chocolate delice de poudre. It has a tiny shimmer though so it doesn't give a muddy look.
Men's bronzers are completely matte.
Hoola by benefit is matte but I found it too much.

I had a look at the Body Shop website , at the bronzing balls. But reviews said they had a bit of sparkle to them. I used to use them years ago but I cannot remember if they were matte.
There's loads of bronzers on their site not just the ball ones though.

I need to test some I reckon.
Boots, Rimmel, (Benefit is nice but a bit £)

What about MUA or Sleek . Anything good on there?

(She wants a "Goody Bag" of make-up bits, so I'm looking for lots of things rather than a couple of £ ones. Didn't mind (much) spending on her RT brushes - special offer and Boots points )

I'll have a look this week and report back Smile

L'oreal has a good, very natural, non-shimmer one, better than my other Bobbi Brown one!

LoadsaBlusher · 04/05/2015 20:59

Rimmel Sunshimmer Matt Bronzing powder
It can be bought instore at Tesco or Boots
Also online from Tesco Direct and delivers to your local store for free .

Hobbitwife001 · 04/05/2015 21:36

I like the Soap and Glory bronzer, Matt effect, not too dark.

mewkins · 04/05/2015 22:00

Bourjois is good. Also the MUA £1 in thet lightest shade is great. I use The Balm Bahama mama one but it is quite dark so use very sparingly!

applecatchers36 · 04/05/2015 22:03

Second hoola by benefit definitely no sparkle

queenbrunhilda · 04/05/2015 22:27

Bobbi Brown illuminating one in Aruba. Wasn't looking for a bronzer but was so impressed with this one I bought it on the spot. Subtle and really flattering.

CheeseandPickledOnion · 04/05/2015 23:43

3rd for Hoola

jjwhite · 05/05/2015 21:30

Expensive option (c. 20 quid I think) would be Benefit Hoola (my personal fav. by a long way). I haven't actually got this myself but people say the Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer (c. 7 pounds I think) is supposed to be really good and matte/not-shimery - so if you don't want to spend as much it might be the one for you.

HesMyLobster · 05/05/2015 21:36

4th for Hoola

ZacharyQuack · 06/05/2015 10:55

Revlon do a matte bronzer that looks a bit like the Bobbi Brown Shimmer brick. I think it's called Desert Bronze. It's 4-5 strips of matte brown in different tones and one stripe of white shimmer, if you miss the white stripe, you can apply it completely matte. Then you can use the white bit as an illuminator. You can also use it as eyeshadow. The bronzer is fairly cool toned, not orange.

GunShotResidue · 06/05/2015 11:01

The MUA one has no sparkle and is £1 Smile

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 06/05/2015 13:14

I showed DD all the options, she's chosen a Benefit kit with Hoola ( small sizes so she can try out different things) for her birthday.

I bought her a Rimmel on in Tescos (about £5 IIRC but huge and not sparkling) for her to practice with.

Thanks
