Aargh shoes I've ordered for tomorrow are tight!

As it says in the title really, I've ordered some new pointy, pale grey courts they've arrived today and there really tight across the toes is there a way that really works to stretch them?
I can't exchange them as they're a 7 and they don't do an 8 in this style and I think they would be too long.

They are currently in my freezer with bags of water in them! Apparently as the water freezes it expands making the shoes stretch. I'm not convinced but I'm desperate!
I've got a rare night out with dp tomorrow night as I've managed to get a babysitter for my four little ones and I really want to wear these shoes!! :-)

Wear them around the house with thick socks.

Put them on. Heat the leather with your hairdryer while bending and moving your feet, I have done this and it will work!

Yip , as swede says above.
I have tried the freezer bag method with leather courts before , I did this twice. As soon as they were out if the freezer I jammed my feet inside whilst wearing thick welly socks and paced around the house.
When my feet had enough of that , I took them off , used the handle of a wooden spoon and kneaded inside the toe area with the spoon , blasting the area with a hot hairdryer setting .
It was like ' working ' the warm leather ...
It worked for meWink

Too late for the op (sorry) but Gabor do a really good leather stretching spray for relaxing shoes that are tight

Buttwing · 30/04/2015 19:42

Thank you! Will try the thick sock and hairdryer method in the morn :)

Patent isn't very forgiving but leather and suede respond well to the hairdryer - thick sock method. Good luck!
