Best under-eye concealers. Is YSL Touche Eclat still considered number one?

Hi,

So I was using the YSL one for a few years, but it runs out quite quickly and whereas I could afford another one, I'm wondering if I'd just be buying it out of habit. Also, I'm a fan of Lisa Eldridge and tend to take her word as beauty gospel and I heard that she's really not a fan of Touche Eclat, which got me wondering.

So has anyone got any recommendations? I'm not on a strict budget, but I certainly wouldn't want to go higher than £25.

Oh, also, does anyone use a tiny amount of their foundation under their eyes as concealer? Hmm I've been doing this whilst I decide which concealer to buy and so far, it actually looks ok. I'm sure this is terrible in the long term, but it's better than having dark circles.

TIA

Liz Earle one is very good. Collection comes a close 2nd and cheaper.

Its light fillers - injections I am afraid but has made a real difference. I come from an Indian background and my circles just got darker and darker!

I have my tear troughs done too, and it does make a huge difference. Not everyone's cup of tea though.

Another vote for Touche Veloutee by Terry. It is expensive at £37 but it is 6.5ml and lasts a long time! I would visit a Space NK and ask for a sample or advice on shade.

I tried Touche Veloutee by Terry in my quest for the perfect concealer and felt distinctly 'meh' about it. Very thin consistency and didn't cover my dark circles.

I've recently tried Nudestix (not sure what the singular is - a Nudestick?) - they're chubby pencils which are soft and blend really well. Unfortunately, mine has gone missing in my (tiny) bathroom and I am bereft, but like it so much I will almost certainly buy a replacement.
